I was clicking around this site and somewhere saw a spot where you can register an alias. I'm wondering ...what is that for? Probably mentioned somewhere in here, I just can't find it. Also, I just read a review by a guy where he warned that a girl was a complete rippoff (the driver took the money and split)and the guy posted that info saying he was using a fake email. What's that all about? Newbie, Franky.
The alias is for people who like to post on the disucussion boards without showing their reviews. For example, I am posting under the alias linkmeister, and it doesn't show my real member name and my reviews. It's just a way to be anonymous and private.
For your other question, I don't understand it. Can you "cut and paste" or copy that sentence about the fake email that you are concerned with and post it here so we can look at it? Or you can say "in the review of XXX by YYY".
Thanks for taking the time to answer LM. Sorry, I can't locate that other review ... I've read too many! Anyway, the point was that some member here decided to post a review under a different name because he didn't want any hassles with the girl he was posting about, or at least that's what he implied. He said he was posting via a different email address and that's what I was wondering about. How do you do that? Maybe he just rejoined, or that's an option for paying members, or perhaps he submitted two new reviews under a different name to obtain a different name to post under.
