but like those pimples, it is what it is, it is not going away, and people still like watching, and some want to get in on the action. If it's not your cup of tea, turn on the Travel Channel, bitch, because we are lubing up and getting ready to play.

No pimples on that lovely ass. You are quite the beauty. Top notch reviews, too. Now that you've brought my attention to you...

Intellegent posts comes from alaises as well as real handles, same with useless information.

I was doing doggie with a pretty young lady and noticed a huge white pimple on her ass.  I was tempted to pinch it open, but was afraid that might cause her to kick like a horse.

I find alias sex quite entertaining LOL

Namely the alias haters are the ones freaking out about them. I am highly amused at their ire over not knowing who is really posting. Some of them don't even bother posting to the message, but would rather focus on the alias itself.

Your hooded kickboxing analogy is funny, but most everyone will stop to watch a street fight in real life although you may not know who the fighters are. It's one of those things that you can't help but to watch.

Yes, it's quality entertainment.

No, none of it matters, alias or not, nothing that gets said here matters. Ever. Who gives a fuck about a "board persona"? Board persona = bored person. What is a waste of board space...are we running out of room here? It is entertainment...in it's lowest form...I would not call it "quality" entertainment, but a harmless way to kill a few minutes.

Of course there are some people who live here, and I'm sure issues like these seem incredibly dire to them...you wouldn't want someone shitting on the floor of YOUR house, afterall.

Does it make you crazy, or is it just me?

When somebody blows onto the board with a controversial statement as an alias, it seems the objective is mainly to stir up some shit while remaining anonymous to the community that person is engaging with.  But essentially, Alias = Nobody, right?  So once you've got Nobody vs. Nobody swinging at each other, does any of it really matter?  It's like two hooded strangers kick boxing in the dark, but with an audience.  None of it will ever be attributable back to a TER board persona.  Seems like a ridiculous waste of board space to me.  Or maybe just quality entertainment?  What am I missing?

Yes, alias be alias is just plain stupid, I still read them for entertaient value, but most of us, I think, don't put any credit to an alias, yes, I do have one, but only for situations where my history of reviews " might" point to a provider, other than that, I don't have anything to hide..

Some of it IS quality entertainment. It doesn't matter if it is attributable to a board persona. If there is some wit and panache, then it is entertaining. It's like reading a novel that is composed by collaboratively, antagonistically and neutrally many authors.

My aliases reflect my moods, which vary a lot.  Please direct me to the highbrow posts you prefer and I'll try to smarten up.  Or better yet, send me a suitcase full of cash and I'll turn it into an orgy in my living room.

I see from your list of reviews that you hobby in DC and have been around for a couple years.  Still, I couldn't pick you out from a crowd of two.  This discussion comes up all the time, where people complain that aliases are troublemakers.  I'll put it back on alias haters.  People often post titillating ideas, but they cannot control who responds.  If nobody responded to something designed to create trouble, not only would the post not become a train wreck, but the people that love to start shit would grow weary of being ignored and likely give up.  I'd venture to say that your real issue is that when someone starts a heated topic, others just can't help themselves from assembling the kindling, soaking it with lighter fluid and lighting the match.  An individual poster, even with alias superpowers, can't make a train wreck without the help of the group of people that jumps up to yell at them.

Anyone that knows who I am knows that I love aliases, and use them often.  I'm using one here, although it's arguably not my most ingenious.  Still, if I thought that they were bad, I could blast them all for some reason or another.  I'm pretty sure that given some time, you'd regret the change.

...looking for some good discussion.  Love the UTR alias, by the way.

So, if I get your gist, the idea is *not* to discourage people who like to start shit and create train wrecks?  That aliases aid in fueling the most combustible topics.  And that this is something we generally value and want to encourage as a TER community?  Hey, you may be right.  I dunno.

Just for the record, I don't think aliases should go away.  I think they are extremely important in some circumstances.

Maybe I am missing the whole 'entertainment value' aspect of the alias battles.  You've given me something to think about...

It really is true what they say about addicts.  You can't get over yourself.  Four guys on a fuck board know who your handle is.  And you ain't jack shit, mr. Schizit.  Keep up the fun.

Just sayin'

I think you are letting the white knights and the political correctness crowd from DC control your feelings on alias. Many of those people who bash aliases have been involved in having multiple handles and all types of scandals from other hobby board that is in decline.

I post with an alias because I think it is an interesting stereotype. Anybody with enough neurons to have a complex instead of a simplex would realize its me.

Thought we could get a really good, raging alias hate-fest going here but only a few moderately annoyed aliases have weighed in.  Really minimal name calling.  Kind of a disappointment.

I don't know who you are, either!

And that's probably a good thing, Mr. Schitt. If I did know you, I might have to stop bitchslappin' you and start agreeing with you.  ;)

I find watching an Alias Wrestling Federation's
"Thread Match" quite entertaining myself! LMFAO!
