As far as we know, everybody here draws a real big distinction between consenting adults and minors.  That's what TER is about, that consenting adults is nobody's business but their own, and we're decent citizens who protect each other's children like anybody else.

I personally haven't seen a situation where I suspected that I wasn't actually being solicited by a willing and consenting female adult.  I would read every partner I've had for the last 30 years as probably well into their 20s or more, because that's my taste.

OTOH, if I was somebody who like 18 year olds, I don't have an issue with 18 years old.   Those of us with memories of HS gfs probably realize that a 17 year old may be just as randy as an 18 year old.

And I seriously doubt that you or most people can be relied on to tell a 17 year old from an 18 year old without a valid drivers' license, which we know the provider ain't going to show you.

IOW, I don't believe you check drivers' licenses.  I hope you have the good sense to avoid anything that doesn't appear consensual on any level.  But the fact that you assume the rest of us may not makes me wonder.

I simply have not seen anything that I would regard as non-consensual in any way, so I tend to be skeptical of people reporting epidemics of trafficking.  It's outside my experience; and so when people equate mail-order brides with trafficking, it starts to sound an awful lot like equating intercourse with sexual assault.

Sounds to me like you may have more experience with those margins.  OTOH, that doesn't necessarily make you part of the solution, any more than I think Catherine McKinnon is part of the solution.
