I know some guys who line up their dates days in advance, and others who just see a profile that catches their eye and book on the spot. I’ve tried both and honestly the results can be very different sometimes the build-up makes it more exciting, other times the last-minute decision feels more spontaneous and fun. How do you usually go about it, and do you think it changes how the session turns out?
Proper preparation prevents poor planning. I love having a date on the calendar to look forward to! It builds anticipation & makes me excited. Butterflies.🦋 I am available same day, but I do have an additional rush fee because it takes time to prepare for a date.
I have limited time and resources, so do a lot of research before I pull the trigger.
It seems to work well as it is rare I end up regretting my decision.
I also tend to see only one or two new gals in a year, preferring to stick to the ones I have already seen.
You're an agency.
I’ve actually had a few agency owners and managers as clients in the past. Some were also friends. As an occupation, it’s not super conducive to casual dating. Easier to look to others in the industry to get those needs met and keeping it on a business level ensures that there’s no drama.

Yup. I recall one manager who tried dating his superstar escort at the agency. That caused a lot of drama both at the agency and also in their relationship.
I agree if it's from the agency he works at or runs, no bueno. However, if it's an indy or from another agency and he's a customer, I see no issue.
I watched this show as a younger man. The owner of the brothel, Dennis Hof, dated a few different girls that worked there. It seemed to cause a bit of drama but Dennis insisted it was working out fine for him!

I typically book anywhere from several weeks to a couple months in advance. Although lately I’ve done a few bookings on shorter notice. With one being a two day turn around from first reaching out to the appointment. I prefer the former just because I enjoy the build up of anticipation as the countdown turns from weeks to days. But the quick gratification of only waiting a few days is pretty nice.
Every single time I have booked same day, the experience has always been pretty lackluster. I find it's better to do some research, and actually book a session a few days ahead of time. In my experience, most good providers prefer this as it lets them plan and properly prepare for our time together.
I usually plan ahead. I have booked on impulse though. There have been occasions were I just got a hankering and tried with escorts who say they take same day appointments if they're available. That said, a few of times this went sideways. I've had situations where providers weren't available and I tried others and ended up empty handied. And, I had a situation once with an agency were they had someone else available and I took a chance and regretted it. Planning ahead is always better.
Many of the women I see are in high demand and lead very active personal lives, have civie jobs, etc so I def need more time and plan ahead. Plus I engage often in group play as that takes even more time to get everyone on the same page, date and time wise.
We can book with 2 hours notice and as far as 2 months in advance with no deposits for advance bookings
Why does this thread feel like a setup to advocate for agencies? Don't get me wrong, I see agency girls and independents but this thread feels like an ad.
Probably because it originates with a London based agency that is engaging in discussions here. I would say it's much better crafted than, say, the many posts by *some* providers here just seeking to promote themselves on the board in hopes for business.
But I don't think either the OP or 100Proof are trying to make some big agency is better than indie arguments here.
This poster consistently shares unique and well written OPs, always with a respectful tone. He/They approach topics from a different perspective, which I believe adds valuable diversity to the discussion. I also find it interesting how the hobby seems to vary at times between the U.S. and the U.K. Whoever it is posting, I really hope they continue doing so.

While it is an agency profile, there is a person behind it just like any other profile. I agree with Robert too. I like the engaging posts from them. They are better then some providers who clearly are here to self promote.
Just to be clear. I replied directly to 100prooflv's reply, not babylongirls, because of the way the 100prooflv agency replied. There was a possibility of a setup by one agency for another. 100prooflv is clearly using this thread as a way to advertise for themselves.
Babylongirls seems to be doing user research, albeit in an engaging way that doesn't feel scammy. As long as this agency doesn't reply to their own threads about the girls they book for, it's kinda ok. I would argue that everyone that is saying there is a person behind the agency, why shouldn't he be using his own personal account instead of the agency account?
Fair point on 100prooflv's response. I don't think Babylongirls intentionally set it up for 100prooflv considering all of the other posts Babylongirls has made. I think that was just 100prooflv response. And FWIW 100prooflv has interacted and responded to many threads and usually has posts that are more about engagement and not just promotion. There are providers on here that are much worse in constantly promoting.
As for the question about why Babylongirls doesn't use a personal account. I'm not sure that is allowed. If you are running an agency account, is the same person even allowed to also have a personal account? I know as a regular user I cannot have two accounts. I'm honestly not sure if an agency would get a pass, but would think whoever is running the account would not be allowed to post under the agency account and a personal account.
I get where you’re coming from, but that’s not the intention at all. I just enjoy talking about the differences and experiences on both sides. The idea was to open a conversation, not to advertise if it came across that way, that wasn’t the goal.
....but that's how my schedule goes. I hardly book a single work related flight more than 48 hours in advance and 3-4 day duration of travel. Its always in response to something or to get in front of an issue that is presenting. That said, I generally don't know what my schedule will be until I hit the ground and can size up the scene. Work related fun is generally tying to set something up for that evening or the next. Very hit or miss.
My schedule is some what chaotic.
So when I get a break I scheduled for an appointment within 1-2 hrs.
I end up with a few dependable regulars that I take care, but it does stop me from meeting other options.
It's not uncommon for me to see my regular 8x month because she will make adjustments to see me because she understands my situation.

in the mix at the time, my hobby days are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. On Friday, I book all three sessions for the next week, even though there is still the Saturday session left from the current week. It has worked for me for about 15 years.

It's all been driven by age. When I was much younger, it was all impulse. I'd get the urge and couldn't stop. All depended on who was available. A lot of money down the toilet.

Nearly every appointment I make is, at least, a day in advance. I like that because my time fills up quickly and I need to plan my day around an appointment since I work full-time. I appreciate the ladies that accommodate appointments in advance. I do not understand those ladies that advertise "only contact me if you are ready to see me right now". That does not work for me. I cannot turn on a dime like that.
When home, my schedule is pretty set, so I generally book a few days to a week in advance with my regulars.
When traveling, I find my windows of opportunity can change quickly, so booking via an agency with a nice portfolio of providers works well for booking less than 24 hours out or even same-day.
booking opportunities are more spontaneous based on how my work schedule is panning out that week, so agencies are a better fit in most instances. One contact to an agency for a provider that evening will usually yield a good result as opposed to contacting individual providers while I'm in business meetings. It eliminates individual email and text exchanges trying to book while I'm working.
Unless it's someone you've already seen or an agency of which you're a regular client. I don't know many ladies who will book a new client without some sort of vetting, and that takes time.
That's one of the reasons I dearly miss all of the non-asian massag parlors that used to be around Minneapolis and St. Paul. On a whim, a dude could go drop some cash and have a great time.

to a mid-town business hotel in a good-sized city, screening is usually minimal. I usually just send a screen shot of my California Drivers License with everything redacted except my photo. The fact that my license is from California tells them I'm NOT local law enforcement trying to trap them. Police do not usually use four and five start business hotels for stings. If they also want a provider reference, I will give them on, but it will usually be from another state.
Although I've been forced to try last minute appointments due to no shows...
I've been booking ahead but, lately, regretting doing so.

In Minneapolis (home base), most business travelers reach out 5–10 days ahead. Locals usually sit closer to the 7–12 day mark. Lately I’ve taken a few same-day dates, but that’s only because the inquiries have been stellar (communication is clear and screening is handled quickly), which pulls the average down a bit.
Chicago and DC usually books around 10 days out.
NYC closer to 2–3 weeks.
Those are almost always new introductions.
Regulars tend to message the second I post a tour schedule, so they get first pick.
I'm visiting LA for the first time since 2022 and SF since 2024 so lots of inquiries but a bit lackluster.
Personally, I love both sides of it!
The slow build of anticipation and the spark of a last-minute “why not?” when the energy is right.
The thrill of thinking about a next session (looking forward to it) is so exciting. You've got time to fantasize, just enjoying the wait and all.
