Thanks for the advice.  That's what I did.  I'm a little new to the hobby of hobbying and just wanted to check around with others.

a reputation?   If so, then it may be sincere on her part.  I could myself doing the same thing if I were to get sick prior to an appointment.   She offered her friend, she didn't just send her and not notify you.

Have you seen her friend's website, reviews, photos, etc?   Have you spoken to the friend?  If so, was there a rapport?

If I could see some pics and reviews of the friend first, I would consider it. If that is not an option, I would pass and see someone else.
