I posted yesterday that I was gonna be with this certain lady, and Goddam if these others didn't come at me tellin me I was supposed to take THEM away from all this!

Holy shit! Was gonna be a good boy tonight cuz I think I'm coming down with something. Now, I gotta do all sorts of backpeddling, explain this and that to this lady and that lady.

And I've already screwed that up twice!  Why would anyone want to be married twice (or more at the same time!).  Try watching "Big Love" on HBO.  The poor guy's married to four women and his life is a giant train wreck!  And that's a fantasy.  Image what it's like in real life?  I don't wanna know.

Societies that codify polygamy always end up with lots and lots of "excess males."

Pretty soon, those excess males constitute a threat to the ruling elite; who then start endless wars to dispose of them as cannon fodder.
