I have not been doing this all that long but learned very quickly to do my homework after getting burned by a CL lady. With some research and some trial and error I have found a few wonderful ladies in and around the area who are true 9's on the rating scale for performance.  Their donations are all very similar and right in line with the area average. Each one of them is different but time spent with either of them is a true joy. They have offered everything you could ever want.

What I cannot understand are other ladies in the area who have donations that are as much as twice the average. I realize it is their business and they can do as they wish. However, I can't imagine time spent with them is any more special than time spent with the ladies I have met with.

I suppose other men with much deeper pockets than mine are their clients. But for us guys who work hard for a living and save up to hobby I just can't do it. I would rather spend more time with the ladies I have met than blow it all on someone else just because she charges more and take a chance on being disapointed.

They spend it because they can. Look at how expensive the euro cars are. For what? There is no value there. To some, status is everything. Even if no one else knows they paid $$$$$$+ for a provider, it strokes their ego. Plenty of great GFE in the $$$-$$$$$ range. I have found no link between paying more than $$$$$ an hour and better conversation and opinions coming out of a woman. I have encountered more entitlement thinking from women much higher on the scale. I used to frequent the $1k range. Not anymore. I'll leave them to the Spitzers and wannabees of the world. They can take them to the overpriced restuarants. I'll take the girl-next-door type.

that you're comfortable seeing, at the rates that are in your affordability range, and to hell with what anybody else thinks. It's your fantasy, my friend. Run it your way.

Each to their own, we all have our limits. I would never dream of spending a grand on a bottle of wine, nor the same to a provider, but there are those that do both.

Truth be told, I would be much more likely to spend a grand on great bottle of wine than the same grand for an hour with a provider, any provider. Unlike wine, I have enjoyed the company of women in the $200 range (and even less in other countries) that couldn't possibly have been any better at 100 times the price, but if it makes a guy feel better that he could afford a thousand bucks to get laid, so be it.

BTW I also enjoy "overpriced restaurants" at times as well, but I understand those that don't.

I'm no wine expert, but I have a private vineyard and have a couple of decades of experience making wines from grapes plus other alcoholic beverages from other plants. (Especially cysers). Adding into this a hard science background ... I gotta tell ya ... and this is only my opinion ... but anyone spending more than about $20 for a bottle of wine is paying for status, prestige and other stuff, but not for markedly increased quality.

Check out the study. Same phenomenon likely applies to LOTS of pricey things.

I suppose there are some $400, $500 and up ladies that might be worth seeing. They would have to be the most gorgeous models with the most amazing service/performance, in my mind, to be worth it - for my area.

I have seen several AMAZING ladies in the mid-$200 to $300, both in looks and performance. Were they "models"? No, but I'm not sure that's what I want.

I think at the higher price points you're mainly paying for exclusivity. Why buy a Lexus/Infiniti when you can get the Toyota/Nissan for a lot less and enjoy it just as much?

Sorry for the auto-comparison ladies... I love driving a BMW or MB, but I would probably never buy one because, for me, the value isn't there.

One ladies rate in one area may be high for another area of the country, while still yet another may be low....all things relative.

I know many who have set a budget for this endevor and will see only as their budget allows

For example one could see 10 ladies at 200 a pop
or choose to see one spectacular lady for an overnight for the same amount.

Or he could see 3 ladies at 300 each ( seeing one lady a week) and then take one week off.

Then again if you really click with a lady, you could have a longer term arrangement for one flat fee a month

but my palate is nowhere near refined enough to tell the difference between a $200 and a $1,000 bottle.

Many people are impressed by a high price tag. I drink enough wine to know what I like and what I don't. I am perfectly happy with a $20 Oregon Pinot Noir, and actually prefer it or a medium priced Argentinian Malbec over an overpriced bottle of Opus 1, which I personally don't care for regardless of price. OTOH if presented with a Chateau Lafitte Rothchild passed off in a water glass, I will know I am drinking something special.

Your study has validity, but some people can discern quality, regardless of the label, or the price tag.

and I found no correlation between price and performance. There are plenty of ladies who understand the economy sucks, and they price their rates accordingly. As far as the ladies who have not adjusted their rates, more power to them. When I find a lady that has great reviews and looks hot, if her rate is too high, I just move on. NBD.

This price point discussion is quite funny. I have actually raised my rates and am busier and have a better quality of clientele than I did before. Who knew!!!!

It has a price, just like everything else. lol

but we don't pick our rates out of the sky.  At least I don't.  I have legitimate expenses associated with providing and my rates are determined by my expenses and the large household that I maintain with no other income and no child support EVER!

I, too, have recently raised my rates in the last 6 months, relocated, and I'm doing almost as good as I was before the economy tanked!  

I have also noticed a direct correlation between the quality of hobbyist who contacts me based on what my rates is set at.  I choose quality over quantity anyday.  

Life is good!

Some hobbyists looks for specific characteristics in a provider. Rates are a non issue for them as long as a provider has what is being sought.

I find myself enjoying providers with different rates at different times for different reasons. I am fickle.

Sometimes I need a down and dirty release or I am just interested in the 'hunt' without a guaranteed result, so I visit a strip club for the hope of happiness at the cost of $ plus a drink and the valet.

Other times I want to be assured of good quality relaxation without getting mentally prepared so I arrange a date with an 8/9 out of TER and spend my $$.5 wisely. I forget the details of these intermediate encounters in 6-8 weeks.

A few times, I am stricken by the obvious intellect of a provider when reading her reviews and web site, and find myself fascinated and infatuated with an expensive woman. These are the 9/10 performance women who are in their 30's and 40's with pages of reviews. These women seem to draw me to them and I love the super satisfying time I am able to spend with them. I work hard for my money, too, so I indulge myself once a year at most. Then, of course, I have to cut back on my other play dates. But those expensive women delivered the most memorable experiences I have had in the hobby.

The few times I have been "cost conscious", I have been burned. When prices are higher, I expect more and the SP expects to give a higher level of service and normally does.

gas station, I can tell you that I could give a rat's ass about the price, or the name, or anything else.  I much prefer a $7.50 bottle of wine that tastes good TO ME, than a $12,000 auction bought bottle of 100 year old vinegar with anyone's name on it!  Pass the Boones farm!

I also think the OP has a point. If your happy with what your fav lady does, and how you feel after the date....why go anywhere else if  available money is a limiting factor?  Some enjoy the variety, I enjoy good sex be it the same lady or a new one.  There is no right or wrong way to do this, just enjoy the ride!

If you want to gulp the wine, not savor it, then of course you are just looking for a quick buzz. You are not going to want to put money into the experience, it is quick with a purpose...

That $10 liter of Lambrusco does the job but it may also come with the hassles of a pimp, tattoo, hard face, bad attitude, etc.

I like to savor the wine, pair it with a dark chocolate, part my lips, push my tongue along the glass rim a sensually take the taste in...It also helps that if you like conversation we can actually discuss the wine...You don't get that with a Bottle of Boone's Farm.

Just as every lady sets her rates to her own comfort level. If the two aren't compatible in terms of finances, each should move on. Plenty of fish in the sea.

I have higher than average rates for my area (though they are nearer the average in other areas of the country). I miss out on meeting a lot of great people, but I'm happy with quality and quantity of the men I do meet, just as you're happy with the quality (and quantity, I suppose) of the ladies you see.

What's so hard to understand about that?
