Lee Thomas is the entertainment reporter on the local Fox station here in Detroit. He really gave a lot of informatiom about the disease, it has progressed to the point where he wears makeup on his face he used to wear it on his hands.

A more accurate joke would have been:

Will the cops still stop him without cause while he's driving?

or

If he applies for a job somewhere will he now get it because he looks white?

I saw a blurb about him on one of the "talking heads" shows last night and it appears that he is handling this disease with grace and dignity and that his employers are supporting him fully.  I'm sure his stories about vitiligo are educational and uplifting and I salute him and his employer for their mature treatment of this matter.  Maybe there's hope for America after all.

Anyway, in the spirit of ???????????????. let's cut each other a litle slack.
