So many people, men and women alike, give such intelligent and pratical answers on this board all the time. I check in often, but I rarely post replies because I usually don't have good answers to some of the dilemmas that are thrown out there.
It kinda makes me feel dumb, but I try to learn something new from y'all. Hopefully, I will be able to gain some serious insight and be able to contribute more as time goes on.
Is it just me, or has this board been chock full of thought provoking stuff for the past week or so? Great threads, great posts, serious topics, and timely humor. I love it.
Yes, it can get a bit testy at times, but what a great forum we have here, people. So many intelligent men and women! Let's keep it going, folks and try to be as civil as possible, even when we disagree. We are all here for similar things.
Where else can you make friends with so many great people you haven't yet met, or may never meet.
I for one have met a very special lady on these boards and am planning to fly across the country to meet her for the first time. Am I nuts? Maybe, but who cares, we all need friends we can count on through thick and thin. Believe me, if you let them, that's what most of the people in this community will be to anyone who needs them.
And ain't that a first even among those of us who've already posted.
When disagreement occurs in a framework of civility and respect, we can even learn from each other. And it's so much fun to discuss something worth discussing.
