Agree whole heartedly (is that a word?)
Since I prefer finding ATF's and then spoiling them I never have the feeling of being ripped off (not anymore). I give enough to my family, my parents, my dead beat sister,my church...my retirement plan, my ex-wife,my government,my agent,my lawyer,my guild... on and on..., so the money that's left is for me - my enjoyment and I enjoy spending it on the right lady, no matter her profession or how I met her. If she's my type she is someone that I WANT to spend time and money on.
Men outside of this hobby can never ever understand that simple fact. They cannot understand the excitement and pleasure I derive from this chosen past time. Having hours of adult excitement with a beautiful woman is only part of it for me. Spoiling her is just as fun. In fact when a long affair with a very special ATF ended here recently -I had spending withdrawls. Crazy, I know -but I would be in Vegas walking through the Venetian or Bellagio stores fronts and I'd see a great dress that I KNOW would look incredible on her and I'd get all veklempt realizing I didn't have her to spend money on anymore.
Sick? Well some man's sickness is another one's drug. Or maybe it's the same thing. But I for one love watching a girl's eyes light up- in all ways,for all reasons.
Everyone is always complaining about the money thing and how it always comes down to the money and so on.
But tell me if you weren’t spending it on your favorite provider, and you’re not spending it on your wife,
Then just what would you be doing with that extra play money you all hind in that little pocket in your wallets.
You can’t take it with you, and you worked for it, so why leave it to the kids, have fun, enjoy yourself.
And if that’s playing pick-a-boo with a provider then so be it……….

Tammy, you do bring up some very good points about enjoying your hard earned money, and you can't take it with you.
however, the real issue most of us are concerned about is not so much spending, but wasting money. my company's CFO said it best in a recent budget meeting stating "we are in good position to spend money, we just can't be wasting it on those stupid mistakes". I don't mind at all spending $$$ if I enjoy my hour of time with a certain lady. on the other hand, her hourly rate is high enough that I also expect or demand some value for my dollar. to spend that large a portion of my paycheck and be disappointed with the experience is a waste. not only a waste of money, but the time and effort to research ads and reviews, make the appointment, schedule plans for your time, figure out logistics when needing to be discreet, etc. when all of this does not go well, it's just such a really huge let down to get so excited, thinking that you are about to have the time of your life, only to have a lady not provide the service or performance that you anticipated. it's just as bad as being completely ripped off with no service, when a provider simply takes the money and goes through her standard routine, making no special effort to please, or cater to your own individual desire or needs.
hope this provides some insight into what goes on inside our minds, and why a good value for the dollar might place some high expectaions on you ladies.

You raise some valid points. However; After all is said and done we ARE spending the money "playing peek-a-boo with a provider". I guess it's just that we guys like to have something to show for all the money spent. Wether it's an exotic sports car or an electric train set. We don't mind spending it so much; We just want to be able to posess it and go back to it(without extra cost). The last thing women want is to be posessed and the last thing a provider wants is a season pass to their charms.
In short; We'll keep spending the money on you ladies but we reserve the right to bitch about it.

BTW,that expression has kind of a nice ring to it.
Is it your doing or can William Safire write a couple of paragraphs about it. I'll have to remember that line....with my charms...lol...of course.

I use to feel guilty about the money I spent on this hobby until my kids turned into teenagers. They become such ungrateful snots that I just started canceling all their $100 an hour tennis lessons, music lessons, dance lessons, martial art lessons and academic tutors. I used the money on a few great providers and I started feeling really good about myself and started feeling and looking younger. My kids like their hipper younger Dad and I have no desire to leave my wife even tho I'm right in the middle of a full blown mid life crisis. I feel great about my life, in now small part due to a few wonderful providers and I think they are worth every penny I give them. I too buy a lot of gifts for my ATF and she seems to appreciate it! Life is good but short, enjoy every moment of it!!
