Posted this in the legal corner, but wanted to hear what you guys had to say. So has anybody done it? Know a good way to go about it? Had a good experience?
but ladies from the ukraine look awefully tempting!
speaking of ladies from the Ukraine - just returned from a week at the beach - seemed like every local store had "Ukraine ladies" - college age workers in for summer jobs - they were universally hot - got me wondering how many stay after their summer visas expire and end up working in the hobby. Didn't have the nerve since I was on vacation with spouse, but did wonder how they would react if asked about taking them out.
I have two friends who married Ukrainian brides and it has been a rolling unmitigated disaster for both.
I cannot even express how horrific these situations are for the men involved; how opportunistic the women were, etc.
PM me for the horrifying details; or just do some research because my friends' situations are far from unique.
Just say "no" to mail order brides.
Based on personal (2nd hand) experience don't know first hand, there was a movie on this can't remember the name...
Yeah don't do it, my opinion
Is it because of where they came from, or just that they're women? Marriage is not for the faint of heart.
Women, as a whole, have drives that differ from those of men in important ways; which can certainly lead to conflict as the drives in many ways work at cross purposes -- particularly within a monogamous situation.
Which is a roundabout way of saying -- sure, the mere fact that one marries a woman can be problematic unless a great deal of work goes into things.
However, both men's and women's natural drives are just that -- drives. They have very little substance until social expectations are fixed upon them.
Thus, a woman's natural drive to mate with men of superior social status may, in one society, manifest in a preference to marry preachers or rabbis; whereas in another it will tend toward a preference to marry stock brokers. (There will, of course, be variances within a culture as well based upon individual values.)
Different cultures also promulgate different views on the fundamental purpose or value of members of the opposite sex.
And this, in particular, is where people run into trouble with imported Ukrainian brides. It goes well beyond the issues in normal marital disharmony into something pretty breathtaking to see close up.
Fuck John. Why you don't have 200 reviews and pussy thrown at you from all corners confuses my ass! ![]()
And if ladies were to throw pussy at me, I wouldn't tell for fear of messing up their business model. On top of that, reviewing free sessions would entail a serious conflict of interest. (*chuckle*)
Besides, there's nothing that special about what I have to say. ![]()
That some of these ladies' panties get all wet reading your shit.
Shit you not!
And ditto from PM. ![]()
may be a bit better, but there are still problems.
Three friends, all got younger Filipino brides. This is a cultural norm in that country, so it started out well. Then came babies and family life. After that the wife had experienced enough Americanization to take on a new outlook on life.
One friend's church activity with his and kids kept them focused on maintaining the marraige in traditional roles. The guy embraced Filipino culture and supported the wife in raising their children to be bi-cultural. She was a homemaker while he provided the income. They also maintained their health and remained reasonably fit as they aged. All this seemed to satify the wife in her transition to America. Their two boys are in college and they are still married.
The other two did not fair well. In both cases, as time passed the younger women lost their taste for Filipino tradition, and replaced it with typical American consumerism. After one baby in each case(one had a boy, the other a girl), the wives went to work. The money and freedom replaced theri traditional cultures. Men younger than their husbands showed interest, their were affairs by each wife and at about the 15 year mark for both, a divorce ensued. In both cases, the dad ended up with the teen, not from a court battle, but because the wife just wanted out, solo.
My impression was that the successful couple maintained closer ties to the wives family. All made trips at one point or another back to her homeland. But the two unsuccessful marriages seemed to leave the Phillipines behind, so to speak.
So I'm thinking if the initial costs are low enough, you have a pre-nup. a proper relationship lifespan expectency, and you like Filipino cooking, you can probably snag a very young, inexperience hottie and have a fun ten-year run!![]()

Did your friends use a service? If so, do you remember the name of it?
I'm sorry but I cannot give you more info. It has been at least 3 years since I have bee in contact with any one them.
Interesting thing is that the one friend who ended up in divorce, actual has started a small introduction service along with his wife before the divorce. They has said that the big services charged quite a lot of money and all that was needed was an intermediary for basic language and contact. This was in the very early days of the web. He and his wife's take on it was that one simply had to know enough about Filipino culture and language to place personals ad in both countries. Then be the intermediary to help the American gent make travel arrangements, a meeting with the lady, provider a translator, but most importantly teach him what he needed to know about the culture and customes so her could interact with the girl and her family to make a good impression.
From what they showed me, and what I can tell about current communication methods, if a guy was enterprising and put in the effort, he could do it be himself, and strange as that may seem.
I had a regular client of 2 yrs go over to the Philippines after chatting with some women over there who wanted to get married and move over here. He went to go meet up with them, and needless to say, I never heard from him again.... I only hope that it's because he found the love of his life, and that nothing bad happened to him.
