I know there are pros and cons of agency / independents.  My normal preference is when I am home I prefer independents and when I travel I tend to go towards agencies unless an independent takes RS2K.

What I wonder though is what is the normal cut that the agency gets.  I notice I spend more on agencies but I realize that the money is split among more people.  

What are the industry standards / guidelines?
