I recently saw a provider whom I could not stop thinking about for days before the session. I figured once I'd seen her that I'd finally be able to get her out of my mind. But it's worse now. The session was even better than I imagined. I'm totally captivated by her. Now she's all I think about and I have a need to read her website and look at her pictures sevearal times a day. I can tell it's negatively affecting  my relationship with my S/O and also my concentration at work. I'd like to see her about once  month (any more and I'd probably start draining my savings, another thing that has me worried), but if she contiunies to occupy all my thoughts, I think it may be best to discontinue visiting her site and never see her again. The best solution would be somehow forget about her until it's time to set up the appointment. As of now this doesn't seem possible, so I'm thinking it may be best to somehow forget about her altogether. I'd appreciate any advice from hobbiests or providers. When I'm on the web on a Sunday afternoon in the fall rather than watching football, I know something isn't right.

I dunno...looking at a hot provider's website rather than watching football (hey!...we have all seen those Pepsi, beer and SUV/DOdge truck commercials and they are not so different than websites offering GFE...ok, they are, Pepsi does not actually do it for me).  
Seriously, don't worry....yet.  I this goes on for months, it is another matter.  But an obsession for a few weeks may actually be fun.  Weren't you equally obsessed with your SO at the onset?  

This happens to all of us, to some extent. My suggestion would be to see a different provider. By doing so, you should be able to learn more about yourself.

I agree, go see another provider ASAP! Sometimes it helps the "healing" process, too.

Please be careful that if the second provider is as good as the first one, then you are totally screwed like me. I have gone from one great gal to another with no end in sight.

I'm sure she's beautiful and wonderful, but hey, she's not the only one.  See some other girls, and turn this obsession with one girl, into an obsession with the bigger picture.

Well I am in a contrary mood so I will take the opposite tack.  If you really have only seen her once, then I would see her  again as soon as possible. My rationale for this is the sophomore jinx.  With all the hype and suspense of waiting for the first date, you may remember it more fondly than it actually was.  It's kinda like the fish you caught a week ago.  It just keep getting bigger and bigger in your imagination.

If you don't ever see her again she will remain this goddess of love to which you compare everyone else (most likely unfavorably).  If you see her again  a second time the newness will have worn off and the warts start to appear.  Then you can settle back to reality that she was good, maybe great but not the one to throw your life away for.

So go see her again and see if she is still as good as you remember her.

and you will eventually realize that she is not perfect and human like the rest of us.

Also see other providers to help take your mind off of her.

Overall, I have found the "second" experience to be the bettter of the two with most ladies. The nervousness and anxiety is gone and the anticipation of what happened the last time merely heightens the senses for me. Often, what happened last time sets the bar for what happens the second time as well. I'd say "go for it" and find out for sure.
