It has become an undeniable pattern -- undeniable -- that the circa 20yo girls respond to me much less favorably than the over 30 ones. A lot less favorably. I'm still attractive enough with my clothes on: full head of hair, decent clean-shaved face, and I hide my weight well. But when the clothes come off, there's no denying I'm an old man... And I'm 20 lbs overweight, all of it at my belly. I cop an attitude towards them, too, after I get the no tongue-action start. The cool greeting starts a sinking feeling. I'm a GFE type guy.
 
I'm still going to pay to fuck them from time to time because it's such a pleasure to look at them. However, between their reactions and mine, chemistry is getting harder to establish early on. It usually gets better towards the end, but that can mean 20-30 minutes of fucking a rag doll, basically.

What's the best way to take a bridge?  Both ends at once.  So, work on your weight and see older women.  While I am not overweight, I am nevertheless an old guy.  But with that I have found I have come to appreciate more of an experience rather than a meaningless fuck that costs money, wastes my time and one I could emulate at home in the bathroom.  Plus, I am not a baby sitter and I find it increasingly difficult to relate to 20 YO's.  So, I don't bother with them.  Seek out the older women with similar interests and who both want to make money and have fun while doing it with a guy who has been around the block.

I'm not as pretty as you (older, gray beard, receded hairline, also paunchy).   My recent experiences with under-30 hookers have all been sweetly gratifying.  Whatever their level of un-attraction to me. they have given me the pleasure of looking, touching, kissing, licking, sucking, and fucking with every indication of comfort or enjoyment (sometimes overdone a bit), and with simple direct comment about anything they didn't like (allowing me to correct it).

I have found that age is not as important as overall physical fitness, and in my experience, provider's attitudes reflect that.  I have been a gym rat most of my life, and while I weigh more than most charts say I should, it's the lean muscle mass that exaggerates the scale reading.  I also put a premium on the social aspect of spending NSA time with providers.  Ten years ago when I was in my early 50's, I started to notice the disconnect when seeing 20-somethings.  Since then, my preferred age range is 35-45 because the sex is better and so is the connection.  Your suggestion of a two-fold approach of working on your body while moving up to lades more age-appropriate for guys in their 60's is a winner in my book.

Back in the day I had to have the hottest girls. Flew them in from other states and basically wasted a lot of money.  
Now in my 60s I am have created a few local providers that give me good service and we relate well. I treat and pay them well and I rotated them depending on my and there schedules. The youngest on is 35.

I'm going to take this opportunity to post some additional info.
