Wanted to share, and since this isn't exactly appropriate office conversation, thought I'd share here!

Spent the past month or so on here, doing research, reading countless reviews, tips, tricks, etc.  Finally felt I had a basic understanding of what was entailed and what I needed to do in order to safely take the plunge.

After reading hundreds and hundreds of reviews, and clicking on far too many provider pages, I found what appears by all accounts to be a great provider, girl next door, non-enhanced type (which is what I was after, and which seems nearly impossible to find in my area).  Very well reviewed by a lot of providers with numerous reviews to their names.  Great "skill set" and just as important, if not more for me, very personable, talkative, and easy going, giving everyone a great, relaxed experience.  After a lot of fruitless searching, I pulled this one up, and I knew almost immediately...Ding!  We have a winner!  

Emailed back and forth a couple times.  Phone call was requested.  I sat there all day picking up the phone, and putting it down.  NERVOUS.  Finally I found a pair (knew they were around here somewhere) and dialed the number.  All of the fear of "calling a provider" was almost immediately replaced with the "teenage boy asking the cute girl in algebra out for the first time" jitters.  Put me almost completely at ease.  Easy to talk to.  It wasn't some mysterious cold, business like "provider" on the other end of the line, but a real nice, real person!  (What did I expect, right?)

So, thankfully even though I was a noob without a reference, I coughed up some personal info and we were able to work out the details.  I had a #2 choice set up in another state I travel to, and while the #2 on my very short list was a bit younger, thinner (I like real thin women), etc., she did have a few tats and a tongue stud, which kept me searching for something more my speed.  I'm one of the guys, "old school" I guess even though I'm not old, that thinks tats on an otherwise beautiful woman detract from the overall package.  No slam on anyone of course, just personal preference.  I also prefer a nice set of "B's" any day of the week to a set of "C's" or "D's", so some think I'm nuts in that regard as well.

At any rate, we set up for next week.  I spent the extra dough, and coughed up for a very nice room in the best hotel in the area.  More of a nicely furnished condo type feeling to it than hotel room feel.  Perhaps not as important to her (but hopefully nicer for her) but to me I wanted to stay away from the cold "econo-travel-inn" type of environment.

Will be well groomed, trimmed, clean as a bright new penny, and as presentable as a 40-something guy carrying an extra 25lbs can be!  Will pick up the beverages of her choice on the way in, got the mood tunes all set up, and am READY.  With any luck, all will go well, and I'll be posting a great review in a week or so!

Any last minute words of encouragement or advice for a nervous noob?

Good luck. As a noob myself, I can definitely identify with your story. I'm not quite where you are, but have read hundreds of reviews and look to be making my move soon.

I, too, dread the phone call and have never been able to get past this level.

Keep us posted. There are plenty of folks on this end in similar positions...looking to take the plunge into the hobby...but too darn nervous about all the things that surround that first meeting.

After seeing a few "first-timers myself" I think the best advice would be to "relax" however that advice by itself can be rather intimidating and difficult to follow.

What I will suggest is that you BREATHE and think about the reasons that you DO WANT to see your new ladyfriend.  Have a glass of water, or perhaps one drink (do NOT get drunk) to relax.  Pamper yourself, either with a bath, shower or something else that will help you to relax.

The gents that I have seen who included me in their first time either with a professional, or with any woman have fared best when they had NO AGENDA.  Simply going into the experience with an open mind an without a prescribed plot will help.  

I tell this to prospective suitors who enquire about what I offer, since I do advertise that I see those with little experience or who want to try something new.  I guess this is just a crossover from my studies as a sex coach, among other things.

Hopefully your new ladyfriend will help your comfort level and guide you to where you want to be.  

A chat also helps to relieve tensions and form a connection between two people, so take your time.  I'm not sure how much time you are planning on spending with your friend but enjoy it.  Just experience.  Have fun!

Candles, got 'em.  As well as a room with a fireplace and large jacuzzi tub in case that seems like something to do at the time, but am not necessarily planning on it if it doesn't.  But it's there just in case.

Went by the room I reserved today to check it out and make sure I liked what I saw.  Very nice place, just as I remembered it since I stayed there last - 12 years ago.  Plush, with a couch for getting acquainted on (instead of sitting on the edge of the bed).  Should be worth it just for my peace of mind in creating an atmosphere for myself that I can relax in.  Hopefully puts her a bit more at ease too, but who knows.

I planned for 2 hours, and will extend to 3 if we hit it off on the conversation front and she doesn't have to run.  I'm not a 20 year old "stud" that can fill 3 hours with non-stop sex, (heck, could I at 20?  Can't remember, lol).  But a few hours of some nice conversation, hand holding or snugglin' up, and some unrushed activity in between would be nice.

It's funny how I remeber the 1st time so well. I did exactly as you and you've done all the right things. The best thing is like me, you told the well reviewed lady you were a neebie and because she is well reviewed she is so happy to pop that newbie bubble.

My lady set on the bed, rubbed me gently on the arm and always made eye contact. I let her make the 1st move and then it was game on. She told me through out the session how she would do anything I would like and she made suggestion after suggestion. We did it all and I do mean all. She showed passion, gentleness and hunger. So try to relax (good luck with that..lol) and enjoy it. You've done all the right things so now enjoy the hard (pun intended) work you put into this.

The candle thing is a must. I've yet to have a provider NOT like candles!!
