One of the reasons I like TER is the ability to communicate with other hobbyists. I have an on going relationship with a Reviewer whose opinion I hold in high regard. We have at least one similar experience and we exchange notes and comments which I find really cool. Do any of you other players work this way? Just curious. gf60

I've received some neat  replies to this post including one from a very cool dude from Memphis. We choose to be hobbyists for many reasons and it's not something we can share with most people. This site and in particular the DB provides us a great release. So KUDOS to all you cool cats and hot kittens! gf60

Once you get to know each other better, the intel that passes back and forth is better

A couple of providers know what I like better than I do.  Guys' tastes and mine run a little different.

I have PM, email and even social relationships ( meet for drinks) with a few other hobbyists that I "met" through TER. Without a friend or two with whom we can share and be totally open, this can be a very lonely world.
I also enjoy a few ongoing friendships, primarily email, with some very lovely women that I "met" on TER. They have occasionally even resulted in especially nice dates.  
PM or email - very useful for those who are open to ongoing friendships beyond the boards or the bedroom.

No, but I suspect my user name isn't helping matters. It was picked at a time of feeling bitter and lonely and is not supposed to reflect a personal preference for being a lone wolf. In hindsight it unfortunately makes me seem like the crazy old man whose house all the kids avoid on Halloween. :p

You're right - I pick and choose the "pack(s) I prefer to run with. Why do think I'm a hobbyist. gf60

and participate with discretion..nothing wrong with you at all. Less than 20 percent of active clients even use these boards, but they are still seeing providers and spending that cash. I would guess about only 1 in 5 of my clients post reviews, if not less than that.

And I'm happy to answer any questions people have. I've contacted a few TER reviewers myself if I wasn't sure about a girl.
