HOW OLD IS TOO OLD?
How old is too old (for BOTH Hobbyist & Providers) to be in the biz?
As providers some of us "fudge" on our age a little, usually taking 5 to 10 years off. The ones who do fudge on their age still look great for their age, and can "pull it off".
I know that some gentlemen like MATURE providers. They are sensual, warm, etc. They are probably more of a gfe due to life experience. But how old is too old?
Below there was a thread about an older provider doing a bait and switch in DC. I know of another provider (I wont mention the city here, if you really want to know email me) who does the same thing. The photo is of a tall, thin, young brunette and when she shows up she's really a short (5'0) toothless woman about 55 to 65 years old. Why do they do it? I mean, clearly no one wants a toothless woman, but these ladies must not be getting enough business as themselves so they resort to bait & switch...which only goes to prove my premise that there is "age-ism" in our industry.
I've seen photos of ladies who are CLEARLY in their late late 40's and 50's but they say they are 37 or 39. Charro (the "coochie coochie" woman) was "29" for about 15 years! I'm sure movie stars and models fudge on their age too, but how prevelant do you think it is in our biz?
QUESTION FOR THE GENTS:
If you visit a provider and realize that she clearly fudged on her age, are you turned off? Do you leave or stay?
The reality is that we cant all be 19...so why is it that you think so many women fudge on their ages?

Viagra is a wonderful thing, but if nature is directing a man to stop...should'nt he? I realize that the company of a beautiful intelligent woman is nice at any age, but how old is too old?
I personally love men who are 40 to 55. GREAT LOVERS, they are true gentlemen and have that whole "sean connery" thing going for them. I realize that men age much better than women do, but when do you stop?...65, 70, 80?????

I am a hobbyist who just turned 57 and have no intention of "retiring". I do understand your concern and wonder when escorts may feel that I am too old.
My favorites range from 20 to the 40's and my ATF is 32.
I try my best to stay fit and "think young" while acting my age. I feel that trying to act like I am 27 would look foolish. I do not want to have to lie about my age, but as most tell me that I could pass for 7-10 years younger maybe I should begin fudging my age. What do providers think?
I'm hoping to have several years of play time left and would prefer to be honest about my age; but am especially concerned that the upcoming "big six oh" may send out a red flag.
Any feedback from providers or other "senior hobbyists would be appreciated.

I'm 55 and will probably remain a hobbyist until it falls off (LOL!). I believe that so long as you want to remain in the hobby, and can afford to do so, then stay in the hobby.
As far as providers are concerned, age is less of a condsideration than honesty. If a 50-55 year old woman is attractive enough to continue in business, there's no reason she shouldn't, as long as she posts accurate photos and doesn't fudge too much. Most of us are savvy enough to know you all fudge just a little. Personally I prefer a more mature provider for many reasons. We all should look at age more of a state of mind.
BTW, there's an agency in Chicago, I believe, that specializes in 50+ escorts, so there IS a market, I'm sure.

Why should the age of a hobbiest matter at all? When I was born I enjoyed the company of a wonderful woman. I hope to enjoy the delights of a woman till the day I die. Many of pay for the comfort of a woman that acts like she really cares about us. Someone that makes us feel like a million bucks. Of course sex is a big part of that, but hey even when the day comes that I can't get it up anymore I will still enjoy the touch of a gentle woman. I don't imagine it matters much to the provider I can get an erection etc. as long as I am kind and treat her with respect.

A client just recently told me about a woman (she was younger, this was due to some kind of accident) who had no teeth. IE she had dentures or whatever but could take them out to, um, perform certain services. *AHEM!* He said she was the absolute BEST at it, and was saying all those jokes about women with no teeth DO have a basis in reality! =:O
Unfortunately I plan to KEEP my teeth regardless. But I thought that was hilarious! And kind of interesting also to find that guys really do/can LIKE that!

I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but here goes:
I seldom participate in this hobby because most providers are far too young for me. Young girls do not do a thing for me. I have always preferred mature women.
Of course, the providers are young because that's what the marketplace wants. Capitalism, you know.
I knew a woman at my old workplace who was absolutely stunning, and the last time I saw her she was 67. If she'd been a provider, I'd be in bankruptcy court by now 
So, ladies, you don't have to fudge your age for me. If you're over 55, please say so and I'll probably be interested.
I prefer much older men. There is no such thing as too old in my book. Men improve with age 
There's just something I don't like about the 'ring' of 'mature provider'. I've only met one lady who used that terminology, and I do prefer older women.
We got along well and I plan on seeing her again.
To me the age of the provider is almost irrelevant. If a woman (or a guy for that matter) takes care of themself, youth is not the even the most important criteria for being attractive. And regardless, there is far more to being sexy & desireable than simply being attractive.
The youngest provider I've seen was 23y..the oldest 50y--both were great. The average age of those I have seen has probably been mid 30s. Personally I've always been of the opinion that most women don't become their best until approximately 30y & that how long they remain at their peak depends on the individual. But to me it's all about the individual, not the age, the hair color, etc, etc, etc.
As far as the hobbyist age is concerned, I know some that are 50+ (myself included) & none appear to have any intention of slowing down. I'll know it's time to stop only when the time comes that I no longer enjoy the anticipation of an encounter with a sexy woman & no longer enjoy the excitement the actual encounter produces.
Don't knock toothless women a good "gumming" is almost as good as getting "winked off"!
I am 38 years old. I have seen providers 18yo up to (I am guessing 49).
I prefer 25ish year olds, sort of. I have enjoyed the pleasures of 18 year old providers -- but such began to give me a case of the guilts for whatever reason. I don't care a hoot about someone else doing an 18 year old -- it's just no longer for me. Two ladies I absolutely adore are 25ish. If they were 35ish, I would still see them. I am into them, not their age.
Re me, I am going to hobby until I can find a relationship I am comfortable with (am really bad in that dept) and "hobbying" is like a shot of adrenalin to me.

One of my favorites advertises as "50ish," and I'm sure that's correct. She has stayed in fantastic shape, and is very attractive, though she has a few laugh lines, etc. She is one of the most GFE companions I have ever been with, and I think you are correct in suggesting that it's due to her life experience. As to running out of gas, she says she came upon her "second wind" about 5 years ago, and hasn't looked back!
By the way, she's reviewed here and elsewhere (not by me, though), and says she is proud of the writeups.

I'll be turning the big five-o in a few months and I've enjoyed this "hobby" on and off for close to thirty years, so long as my stamina holds up, I plan on doing it for many years to come (pardon the pun)
As far as the age of the ladies is concerned, it shoulnd't matter as long as they provide an honest service.
