The law was passed and I guess now is too late for a tsunami of calls to Congress. From what I've read in the EFF site (Electronic Frontier Foundation), which is a brilliant organization designed to protect Internet and by extension many civil rights (link below) , they are making a case that this bill may be unconstitutional and not only will harm sex workers and interfere real work fighting trafficking but also is a direct attack on free speech on the Internet and maybe there is an opportunity to keep fighting it from that angle. I encourage people to go to their article/website and get involved (donate, support, organize, ....). We need to have a voice and this may be the best choice now. The SWOP site links to them.
This bill is just plain tyranical! https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2018/03/how-congress-censored-internet -- Modified on 3/25/2018 8:10:46 AM -- Modified on 3/25/2018 8:12:36 AM -- Modified on 3/25/2018 8:45:25 AM
