I am having trouble coming to a a decision on this one.  There was a Provider in my area that was busted by LE.  She was an ACTUAL porn star believe it or not.  I mean damn a FREAKIN porn star in this town!!

Anyway she is now back and receiving reviews (and good ones at that).

I am scared shitless to take a chance with this one.  

But then again I got into this Hobby to "do crazy shit".

What would you do?

and ask if she is working with them.  If not book her.  Of course she might return the favor.

But you probably can do some research.  Are the reviews on TER?  If so, can't you PM some that have seen her and get the low down (ie. share your concerns).  They might be able to put your mind at ease.

I never saw one in the first few months after the bust.  Many guys have no idea how many girls on these boards and well reviewed too have been busted.  I can think of  15 or more that are well known on TER that have worn handcuffs at least once and had  pic taken of them that was not a glamour shot or photoshopped courtesy of LE.

How long ago was she busted? Was she convicted or did she get off?  It's always possible that, since she is a porn star, LE may still be keeping an eye on her.  Where is she advertising? I would PM the guys who reviewed her and ask them how it went.  If they haven't been arrested yet you can be reasonably certain that she's not working with LE.

Two of my very steady regular ladies have been busted in the distant past. It's never been an issue for me. It happens to a lot of girls especially when they are young and naive.  

I have never heard such a stupid answer on this board before and that isn't meant to be an insult.  
Of course, the police is going to give away an informant or an assisting agent. --NOT

in your state for a misdemeanor unless, you know somebody who works that end of the court or legal system.  It's a lot to ask for a small offense and it  puts her out of business.

I am not saying it could NEVER happen because there are no absolutes when it comes to what cops will do, but they usually bust you right then and there, not a week later. If she is getting reviews and the guys were not busted, I think you're ok. MANY providers have been busted, and more than once. I have accepted refs from some of them, but I also knew them personally.

Prostitutes are picked up all the time through out any given state.  These gals don't start at the top and travel all the time, of course the odds are you'll run into at least one whose been busted once at some time.

Also, if they stay around they are more likely to get caught again.  The cops know who they are and who they hang out with so they can hone in.

I agree with London, if you thought she was being set up and the police were watching here.  I was addressing the unlikely possibility they turned her to be part of a sting which would cost her business.  If busted for something bigger, they'd go after that not something smaller.

And yea...those mug shots are far from the glam photos on their sites.

Just another reason for hookers to STFU about their "real...legal" names.

Do you check out the providers arrest record b4 you see them?  would it stop you?

after a large agency bust where I am, many who were with the agency went indie, and I saw them. I've aso seen indies who were busted. I was more active in the hobby commnunity at that time, so after some back channeling it wasn't an issue.

And many gals freely babble too much about themselves.

And too often information that should NOT be available is quite easy to "stumble upon".

No...it wouldn't be an issue for me if the gal has a history.  As I said some gals have been busted for shoplifting, petty theft and other misdemeanors.  Now if I knew that a gal has a history of violence...that I would steer clear of.  And frankly, warn my pals via back channel.

Many people have done stupid shit in their lives.  But I also believe that most learn from their mistakes.  

i guarantee you she is lot more careful now..some live and learn..some live and learn the hard way..but they learn..

If you know the details of the arrest that could help in your decision. A lady I had seen previously was busted at a hotel when hotel staff tipped off police. Police went to the room while she was with a client and arrested both. She told them everything so needless to say since she doesn't follow rule number 1 STFU I will not repeat. And yes she is back on ter getting decent reviews. But if a lady is trapped in a sting or doesn't cooperate I would probably repeat if she was back on ter getting good reviews from reputable reviewers. And I know you always can't find the whole story out so then you just have to decide the risk vs. reward for yourself. I know there's at least one poor guy in MN right now that wished he chose differently. You say you got in the hobby to do crazy shit but I would advise some caution. While everything we do here is risky if you do your homework you can take calculated risks. Have fun be safe.
