Unless a provider is delisted/removed for a reason, they’re here forever. There are many very old profiles who have no reviews way longer than 3 years ago. There are ones that are from over 20 years ago.
I put a simple search with only body type and height in. The results came in by most recent date. 1st result reviewed 1month ago. by the time I got to the eighth review the results came back with last review 3 years ago. No website or ad location for the provider. Are there a lot of "stale" provider listings on ter?

unless her ad link is no longer good. She could have changed to a no-review policy during Covid like a lot of providers did. Generally, if her ad link is still good, she is still accepting business. Otherwise, you will see a "Report New Link" message where the link should be at the top of her profile.
…there’s the scraper sites that the providers have no control over. Stuff can stay there forever.
There are also some paid ad sites that if you have a direct link, like on a TER profile, you will still see the ad even though she hasn’t re-upped in ages. Jensen or TRQ or someone explained it once not too long ago. Something like when a provider’s ad expires the site just removes it from visibility or something like that. But they don’t delete it so that if she shows up and pays again, it’s all still right there and the ad can easily be put back on the site.
I believe agencies do the same thing with their gal’s profiles on the site, when one of them is taking a week off. If you go to the agency website and check the current “lineup” a given lady won’t be there if she’s not working today, but the link on her profile here will still be working.
I just went and looked at the profile of a lady I used to know years ago. She’s retired. We had become good friends, I met her sister ffs; trust me, she’s retired. But the adultsearch link on her profile works just fine. There’s her pics and ad copy and everything. You can click on “info” on the ad and see that it was posted more than six years ago. You could spend all day searching the adultsearch site and not find her, but the direct link still works.
This why I appreciate the ad sites that have “freshness dating.”
I have a handful of ladies who I keep tabs on should they ever tour in my area. I have seen with multiple sites where their ads disappear from visibility via search. Meanwhile, my saved links still go to their ads on those sites. TBH, these sites are being a little lazy. There are other sites that also don’t erase the ad, but the link no longer works while they are not paying. I have seen numerous providers where their ad comes and goes - exact same link.
As for scraper sites, like hot.com, IMO, TER shouldn’t allow them to be links on profiles. They are very misleading. Fine in the immediate when ads are active. But terrible in the longterm when ads go away, especially if a provider isn’t providing any longer or important details have changed.
