TER has lots of trolls on the boards who do not contribute anything positive. I read, so much negativity & it makes me think why are you here? Be kind. Spread love. The World is hard enough this should be a fun place. Those who use an alias why? No need to hide if your not afraid to stand by your words. I’m a provider who has been around a long time & it’s not inspiring, or motivating to post here with the large number of trolls. Even the photo board hit the like button on all these wonderful providers who spend time posting. I do! If look at all the hate here it’s sad. TER boards should be happy look at this community. Stop bashing each other it’s ridiculous. Those who feel need to harass providers by emailing them just don’t if you don’t have a life outside of TER your not truly living.  

I've noticed the same.  After reading a lot of TER posts, I feel like I need a shower.  Thanks for speaking out.

Where's Mya?

As you’ve noticed, there’s some bona fide trolls and other asshats who frequent these boards.  I use my alias where those folks tend to roam, my TER handle elsewhere.  Also, using an alias when I post about my experiences with providers in general discussions avoids having those trolls and asshats dig into my reviews and try to figure out whom I’m talking about.

And there are a lot of legitimate uses for an alias that have nothing to do with being "gutless."  In the days of unlimited aliases I had about 200 and mostly used them for fun. Now an alias is still useful if you want to make a  comment and not have it tied to your reviews.
I had one called J.EdgarHooker just for LE issues. I wish I could remember more of them.

The trolls persist because the moderators are crappy at their jobs.

Several people here seem to spring into action only to shit on someone else's parade.  Sounds to me like some pretty deep unhappiness on their part.  But it's also why I use the "IGNORE" button and skip over comments from those I can't put on ignore.  I have no problem with pushing back on something I think is just plain stupid, but I try to remember that negative energy is just that--negative.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with negative energy. There's absolutely nothing wrong with being a pessimist as opposed to an optimist.

Is all you need by way of proof of the unhealthful effects of negative energy.

I didn't make any negative or disparaging comment in my post. Neither did I troll. All I've did is question the whole "positive thinking" mantra. The world is made by friction, we are made by friction, and major progresses of mankind were almost always conceived due to some conflict.

Why post negative stuff?  Why bash people, such as bashing people only because they choose to use an alias?  Bashing is unnecessary & totally unattractive… as is hypocrisy.  

Oh I wasn't being negative when inquiring about Mya. The topic of trolls just made me realize I hadn't seen her post in a while.
