No. I don't think masturbation counts.  After losing my virginity at 18, for me, it was 7-9 weeks.  The 1-2 right before my first son was born and then the six weeks afterwards waiting for her to be ready.  In fact, my wife gave me a very erotic tittyfuck/handjob that I still vividly remember about halfway through that stretch, but I don't count that.  When son number two came along 6 years later, I had discovered the hobby, so there was no long wait for me.  The longest I've gone since my 1st child was born is about 2-3 weeks.  The problem is that I need it every day.  Since having kids, my wife's time and energy don't allow for this.  So thank god for all you wonderful providers.

but your comment - as an indicator of true affection is accurate... and represents a loss of true concern for your mate.  Once that is lost small imperfections in each partner become magnified and the imperfections are then out of proportion to the attributes of each partner.  It is difficult to regain that shining image of perfection once it is lost in your partner, no matter how imprecise the new tarnished image may be.

Funny thing is the wife and I idealogically are swingers. Just shy of 3 years ago she went on medications to control hypertension and stress. This effectively sent her drive south. As of now its been 2 years since I've had sex give or take a month. It is understood between us that its ok for me to go out and find it elsewhere, but as swingers a male alone is looked upon about as flattering as a person with leprosy.
