A judge in Bakersfield got fired a few years back for the same type of thing.  Private dances in his chambers for favors.

I always suggest a trade with providers for the services I offer. Though I'm not a lawyer. I sell certain high end products. I haven't got a bite on someone who is interested in the trade yet but I will keep on trying.

Is barter specifically prohibited for payment of legal fees, as long as taxes are paid on the fair value of the service?

If not, then is nude lap dancing illegal?  It would seem not (Although taking place in his business office may violate zoning laws.)

So is the whole fuss over his "inappropriate touching"?

What exactly is the lawyer getting ragged on for?
