On average, "a provider engages about 400 intercourses with different men per year" -- average income: $300 x 400 = $120,000 per year at least.

Provider's income is all cash (straight from ATM machines, in envelopes), after tax (may choose to pay some tax at their discretion) ... high income, good profession ...

and that $300 rate is probably on the high side given multi-hour multiple pop situations.

Then there is overhead:

Hotels, transportation, hair dresser, nails, clothing, ads, etc.

It adds up.

Bottom line:  It's a living, but not the road to easy street.

Fisher, with all your reviews you could probably just tell us more than this survey.  would the multi hour session not raise the dollar amount and only count as one of the 400.  Either way, that income beats most jobs.

However, regardless of money it ain't gravy at all.

I seriously doubt the same providers are making that kind of money today.  I've made less than $30,000 so far this year.  And providing is my only source of income.

The people who make up that survey are not typical of the business as a whole.

The biggest subgroup of providers as a whole are SWs, few of whom are TER members and the going rate is much closer to 30 than 300.

Most non-SW providers are not on TER.

Of the TER members a large proportion don't do it full time.

So 400 may be the right number for those who answered but I don't believe it's a representative mean # of sessions for all providers.

Guys somehow want to thing providers make huge amounts of $$.  I'm not sure why they want to think that, but they do.  I'm sure a few women do, but most just don't pull in that kind of money.

My guess is that it's because if it were true that providers make huge amounts of money, it would
1. make us feel less guilty about putting them in such risky situations.  
2. fuel the anger and jealousy of guys like Jack_Schitt

one of the things that got answered was the 18 times per week.....yikes.  The numbers suggest that there is a lot of down time.

again this was 100 providers, a very small sampling so makes you wonder if any of this carries much weight in the end.
The part that I thought was a little cheesy was the attempt to make these girls out to be professionals, supplementing their base income.  Sorry that's one I dont agree with.
