OK, we hear how providers screen all the time, but how do you as a client screen the providers you see? Providers, feel free to chime in on how you screen as well. It maybe interesting to see how they compare. Thanks.
Here is my answer. Fist I find a lady I would like to see through her ads, TER reviews, provider referral or word of mouth. Then I check to see if she has any reviews on TER by someone who has a history of review and has reviewed at least one lady I know to be legitimate, or I back channel with people I trust to see if they know anything about her. If one or more of these things checks out I then read her whole webpage and/or ad, check TER and read all of her reviews if any, ask some provider friends I know about her, do some back-channeling on her, look at her ad history, Google her name, number, and email, do a reverse number search, Tinyeye her pictures, Copyscape her webpage and/or ad and check other lesser used review sites for bad reviews. Then I get an OK from my wife. If this checks out I contact her to set a appointment and offer my information so she can screen. I use this first contacts as a way to screen for compatibility. Note, no reviews are not a deal breaker if I can get information from a source I trust to make sure she is on the up and up. So I will TOFTT if have outside information from a trusted source. I also do not care if the lady screens or not after I screen her as it is her job to evaluate her own risks. The screening Information I will give up is: my real full name, a phone number she can call or text safely, my hobby email, my TER handle, Any current reference's that I have, my year of birth, a brief description, a photo or two, race, and my work information. With that she can find out anything she needs to know.

I use a handle on TER and not my name because:
1. Admitting guild of a crime on a public board with my real name would be stupid.
2. So my hobbying activities remain out of the public eye. I would hate for my father to Google me and find out I hobby.
3. TER set it up that way.
4. To protect my wife and son from backlash from public knowledge of my hobbying.
5. My wife reads the boards from time to time and would kick my ass if I did not.
Now what does this have to do with screening? And almost any question you ask me about why I do anything will most likely have something to do with my wife or my son as I always try to do right by them first. Why do you ask?

With the amount of information you give without a thought, there is a bigger risk than most, your father, and son might find out about your hobbying..The part of your screening that struck me as careless, was something normally only providers do..and many are blurred.With work info, real name, and photo you are marking your trail quite well. Are you sending your photo by Pony Express for security or blasting it to her email..I have never heard of a provider asking for a photo.That seems quite odd to me..

I have only once sent a photo and it was because of we were meeting public place and she needed to be able to recognize me in a crowd.I don't send all that information to each lady I see. I only send what she requests and only after I screened her thoroughly. If I get outed it would almost be welcomed change as I dislike the lies. Besides I am blackmail proof as my wife knows and my son is to young to understand enough to be hurt by it.My father would understand. I can't be fired as I am my owen boss. I don't care what the anyone else thinks about me. I am not a well known person in my community so the news won't cover it. I would go to the police first thing if someone tried to blackmail me.
By the way, my original question was how do you screen the ladies you see? You know in order to protect yourself from LE and other problems you can run into in this hobby. Not what information you will give to be screened. I just added it for no reason.

When I read your OP I thought to myself, no sense answering this, since his provider screening is very similar to mine, although mine is not quite as thorough . I have had one experience when she was not reviewed, but I trusted the agency. When I read the part about sending your photo, as part of your reference,my alarm bells rang.Everyone is different. I have no problem walking in crowds of strangers, however I don't want to be recognized when doing so. It won't be long and you will be able to take someones photograph, upload to your PC, and find out that persons identity. Young Children grow up fast and technology grows faster..Blackmail never came to my mind. Like you, I would not put up with that kind of nonsense, so thats not my worry.
I don't have a GF at this particular time, but I doubt I would turn down one that fits .
If my face is accessed as a Hobbyist, the odds go down drastically as BF material from both civvies and providers.
Never know when you are in Hotel bar who you run into, that might give you a freebie ,unless she knows you from the facial recognition list , of the guys that will pay..
No one in my civvy world knows I am hooked on providers, and I hope to keep it that way.

I see what you are saying. I don't need to worry about not getting free sex from civies as I am not on the market and would turn it down if offered. I will not cheat on my wife. She wants me to see the professionals but civies are a whole different thing. As for providers recognizing me My wife and I are friends with at least 17 different escorts and a few strippers as well. Most of them had my photo before I started hobbying as the friendship predates the first time I payed for sex. I have not had sex with most of them but a few I have seen on a professional level. My photo is already out there among the providers in my area. All of these ladies thanks to my wife knows I hobby. I am half way outed already. Every one has different risks they are able to take. I understand why people do not give out all the information I am willing to give out as they have more to lose. I am more afraid of being robbed than outed by a provider, maybe because I was robbed by one the first time I tried to see one 7 years ago. My screening protects me from that and LE. Those two things and STD's are the only real risks I am afraid of in the hobby. All that being said I still do not want to be filmed greeting a provider in a non public place as that increases my LE risk in my opinion. I do know from at least 3 sources it does happen more than most know, so quadseasonal maybe your picture is already out there and you don't know it. Just saying.

I know that very well. I have had my pictures taken at thousands of different locations, in hallways,roof tops ,lobbies, basements.and pools along with my car and hundreds of other locations.
None of them were high def sent via internet with no recourse if they are displayed to others with suspected story line attached.I don't have a young child or father I am wary might find out, I am addicted to providers. The candid security pictures taken of me for generalm security concern, CAN NOT legally be distributed to the public at large, unless I am suspected or guilty of a crime

The pictures you share can be distributed if someone if someone merely feels a need for vindictiveness against you.The pictures the provider takes in her hallway for security purposes can not be distributed legally..I doubt the providers who are only looking out for their own security,would ever feel vindictive and display those photos. I have one more reason not to send my photos to a provider, as part of my references. Most of them wouldn't accept my application. Please note most everyone on this board ignore the law when it suits them. The only thing keeping them from using this footage is there sense of decency. If you think the law will stop her you are naive. Most ladies who are in the hobby are basically decent people, but there are plenty who are not. If they are going to be vindictive then you are still screwed no matter what. My big fear is that if we get busted that film will be used against me in a court of law, not the ladies having a picture of me. The photo I send could not be used in court as evidence of wrong doing. I do not fear being outed if shes trying to use my photo for that reason. I do not send inappropriate photos.

I know for a fact she would not. she would not say that to anyone based on looks. I am as ugly as they come. At that time I weighed over 400lb. I am covered with hair from head to toe. I have crooked teeth and many moles on my body. I do not have a collage education, and at the time, my business was still in its infancy so I was even poor. But she still married me. I often wondered how I got so lucky. She says it was because I am a "good guy" what ever that means.
I doubt you are any uglier than me. One reason I will give a photo is to weed out the ladies that would have an issue with my looks. And I never send a photo that is not already out there somewhere on the web like Facebook so if she wants to be vindictive she could get that photo anyway. But as you said, "We are all different." Not every one can afford to be outed, and some are ashamed of their looks. I used to be and kind of still am. So, I get that stuff I would happily provide others would see as to much risk, and there is some things that I see as to much risk that others have no problem with.
