I can't say I ever looked for a soul mate, but there have been more than a few times where I've looked for more than just a fuck buddy.  After a while you'll become as jaded as the rest, but in the mean time if you find a connection with a lady, enjoy it while it lasts.

BTW, not sure you intended to refer to yourself as Dung...

... I will say this. Quit trying to find a relationship or love in this hobby, and you might make a few VERY good friends. If you must persist in your attempts, then try to see ladies somewhere around your own age range. If you think a 25 year old is EVER going to be attracted to you for more then your envelope, you're fooling yourself.

Also, I'm not saying to never tip or buy a lady a gift. However, it appears you're trying to buy their affection and, trust me, you're not going to get any better service or find love because you give them a few extra bucks or buy them some PJ's. For a guy who is always complaining about money, stop wasting on it meaningless gestures.

To me, it's not a meaningless gesture. ( it means something to me )
BTW, i have already made some VERY good friends. ( to the tune of a freebie ) for getting her biz.
I was complaining about money because i was out of work for 2 yrs. ( which is no longer the case )

But, thanks for your input. :)

Why would you post something like this and attract more attention to your personal problems.

Now, next time you call a woman for a little 'fuck meet', you think this kind of post is going to help you?

Tell you what, I'll save it up for the next time you or someone else makes yet another "I've fallen for a provider, and I can't get up" post.

I doubt I'll have long to wait.

To Lungman, dude, you can't post your personal stuff like this. It shows that you are unstable and unable to control your emotions, and that's the last thing providers want or need. They definitely don't need another client getting too attached and thinking its actual love than just a meet and fuck scenario.

Your old enough to know this. Just a bit bewildered that you'll even post something like this bro. I'm known to be a little humorous in my post, but I don't post personal shit like this for providers to see. Yes, providers do read the boards, and some will not see you based on your personal dilemmas that you've revealed. Trust me, providers tell me that see my threads all the time, LMAO. Well, I'm totally different in person, and I'm only using this as an avenue for leisurely activity, but never post personal stuff like this. Anyhow, I hope that you do find a good girl, because this is just pathetic. I enjoy your post sometimes, but man, this is too personal and not necessary IMO. Anyhow, good luck!

A 50-60% current divorce rate does not speak in hopeful favor of the institute
of spiritually, and legally contracted monogamy.

Once there were chastity belts, the often failed rhythm method, and pulling out. Now there is Woman’s suffrage, birth control, and equal rights (I hope!). Eons of societal absolutes are eroding away due to our recent industrial, technological, and medical revolutions. And recent world population statistics show no trend toward our natural extinction. There is a multi billion dollar industry based around love marriage and its ceremonies. So too is there a huge industry reminding you of your loneliness, and that “you’ll never be complete without that special someone”. Any where shortly after the ceremony and heartfelt mutual declarations to the covenant there is another multi billion dollar industry waiting to dissolve and divvy up everything accrued during its tenure.

It is not for lack of empathy; but why?

I just don't think looking for the love of your life here is too smart. He simply wants to be with one woman but since he has yet to find her, he is here...if I were in love, I would not be here either.

From your name, and other things you've said, I'd assume that you're in the medical field. I have a very close friend who is as well, and he suffers from something called Secondary Traumatic Stress Disorder (also known as Vicarious Traumatic Stress Disorder, or Compassion Fatigue). Because he's constantly required to suppress his feelings and emotions at work, they have a tendency to come out at other less appropriate times. Especially when there is a legitimate trigger (eg sex), the response can be more intense than it should be. Which could easily present as someone "falling in love" with anyone they have sex with. People with STSD will often develop addictions as well as a form of self medication, nicotine, ETOH, and sex, being the most common. Since people who suffer from STSD are often in occupations where they're drug tested they usually avoid the harder drugs, although it's not unheard of.

Like I said, I could be completely off base here. But on the other hand, it may be something worth looking into. The symptoms are often very subtle at first, and the build up is gradual, so it often goes unnoticed.

Great post and well researched. We do often self medicate with etoh the one most often reached for particularly after a bad incident. I think both providers and hobbyist have something that draws them to the physical end of the spectrum. We all need to feel skin on skin touch, it's primitive. Many of us smoke, drink, and do drugs. Most of us have done that long before entering our (medical) profession. For me I get a great deal of satisfaction from my job knowing I have saved lives, yet it is a thankless profession.

I enjoy the hobby connections I have made. If I had to self diagnose I wouldn't say I suffer from STSD, instead I just enjoy the contact. Touch is everything...

I know your post wasn't to me, however I could relate.

Hmmm, awesome Nyx_GG, now that is something that makes sense. ( did i mention, i love intelligent women like you also....:)
Honestly, very interesting subject. ( a very stressful job and marriage for 30 yrs and getting beat with a belt by an angry father, in front of others, on several occasions!! )....thank god for a great mother.
Believe me, their is not one lady on here, that wouldn't like me, if they knew me. ( a lot of the stuff i throw out there is just for shits and giggles ) Hey, this is a fuck-board, used for entertainment purposes....never forget it. )

based on the tone of your post. A humorous post is not worded the way you word your posts.

If you want to find a girl friend/ wife, nothing wrong with that. Some people need companionship, but may I suggest a more traditional route?

Can't speak for every guy on here, but I can definitely understand that a guy is gonna come to do this when he is lonely.

And, on another note, let's face it...if this is where you spend your time, money and resources, you are likely gonna end up in a relationship with the people you spend the most time around.

Your friend could benefit from therapy, which he is hopefully getting.

As far as secondary trauma goes, the DSM5 Working Group on PTSD has not recommended its inclusion in the DSM5, scheduled for publication in May.  I believe no field trials took place.  This does not mean, of course, that it does not exist. I think it is very real, although perhaps best subsumed under existing categories.

When you find yourself falling for a provider, here's an easy reality test.  Just substitute the vocabulary of the hobby for the language of romance, and much of the blush fades from the rose:

"My darling, how my heart yearns each time I gaze upon your PROFILE and skips a beat as I CLICK THE LINK TO YOUR AD. Though my soul is not worthy of your DONATION, I secretly dream of being your CLIENT. What mysteries might unfold as we explore WHAT'S ON THE MENU during our FULL UNRUSHED SESSION. A knowing glance is all I need and my heart will gladly concede ALL REQUIRED SCREENING INFORMATION. The minutes pass like hours as I await CONFIRMATION OF OUR APPOINTMENT."
