"Doctors warn of a dangerous new method of cocaine abuse: injecting the drug directly into the urinary tract. Physicians from New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center reported the case of a 34-year-old man who suffered severe bleeding under the skin after pumping cocaine into his urethra. It led to complications that destroyed his penis, nine fingers, and parts of his legs. "They fill an eye dropper or a syringe with a cocaine solution and inject it into the penis," said Dr. Samuel Perry, a professor of clinical psychiatry.

"The man had injected cocaine before intercourse in an effort to enhance sexual performance. He was admitted to the hospital because his penis had remained erect for three days, resulting in a painful inability to urinate. The medical term for a prolonged erection is "priapism." On his third day in the hospital, the man's erection suddenly subsided. Over the next 12 hours, blood leaked into the tissues of his feet, hands, genitals, back and chest. Blood coagulation caused tissues to die over large areas of the patient's body, and he was transferred to the burn unit of New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center.

"Doctors there were forced to amputate the man's legs above the knee and all but one of his fingers to stop the spread of gangrene. The patient's penis fell off by itself. The man is currently recovering in a rehabilitation facility.

"Men who inject cocaine into the penis report that it gives them a sexual high. Drug abuse treatment experts have previously reported external use of cocaine as a sexual stimulant. Cocaine powder is rubbed onto the surface of the genital organs by both men and women in an effort to halt premature ejacuation or improve sexual sensations.

"We report this case to alert clinicians to this new method of cocaine abuse and to describe its rare and previously unreported complications," the doctors concluded."

last line of article on from yahoo Health news:

Mydlo added one more word of caution: "Don't use ED medications -- Viagra, Cialis -- if you don't need them. Erections that last longer than four hours -- priapism -- can cause permanent scar tissue and permanent impotence. It's not a good idea to use these drugs casually."

Where you been? Kind of like the whole smoking is bad for your health warning. Not exactly earth shattering news-- lol. But thanks for the reminder. I need to go light up a stogie now.

next you'll be telling me I should stop brushing my teeth with granulated sugar....

Scan these boards for a few weeks and you will see dozens of guys talking about experimenting with ED drugs for everything from fighting shyness to making a second pop easier. Clearly, many seemingly intelligent males didn't get the memo about seeing a doctor before taking any prescription medication. I don't see the harm in Lisa's warning. I certainly don't see any logical reason for your reaction to it.

Lighten up BG57. Of course there is no harm in Lisa's warning. Just like there is no harm in reminding you of the dangers of smoking. A lot of seemingly intelligent males still light'em up. Why is that BG? Kind of like the viagra question. They know they shouldn't but they do it anyway.

Of course you don't see any logical reason for my reaction to her post. I wouldn't expect anything other than that from you.-- You gotta love the white knights...

is relatively new medical information.

BTW, I dont mind if you guys have fun with my post .... do whatever you wish with it.

But you cannot do whatever you wish with me ... although you wish you could ....

I have done whatever I wish with you and on multiple occasions. It was a cute line though.

Cowardly little weasles who hide behind aliases?? Gosh, do you think she'd ever give you the time of day again if you manned up and used your real name to insult her with? I'm thinking she probably wouldn't, hence your need to cower behind an alias.

Pointing out the obvious is now considered an insult?

The point is the same regardless of the handle, alias or otherwise. And since none of the ladies know my TER handle anyway, your supposition is specious. But that's ok. Speciousness abounds here on these boards.

I just love the white knights, especially the ones who wear a dress...

in the matter of being UNinformed. I've read your posts on the P&R board and no one is more uninformed than you. So being representative of the most uniformed among us, I'll bet even you were aware of the viagra warnings Ms. Butler referenced in her post.

Dimwit???  The pot calling the black don't you think?

Take'm to a stand-up show and bomb there. I've gotten tired of feeding the brainless alias.

Ok ZIN. You convinced me. No more injecting cocaine into my penis...I had no idea it could be bad for me. Thanks for the tip.

NVB is funny as shit, he's even more jaded & cynical than i....great sarcastic humor, i like him/her.....

a 3 day boner for losing my legs, po-po, and what looks like a ton of dead tissue?  Usually a no-brainer, but, we're talking hobbyists here, so you tell me.

Personally, I would have to weigh my options.

Would I have time to plan a string of appointments with my ATF's and, hell, someone else's too?  That's a factor.

Am I facing an underlying terminal diagnosis? That would make it an easy decision, so let's discount that.

Would reconstructive surgery be available in the future?  Ted Williams froze his head on a hedge bet like that.

If I had all night, I bet I could come up with a Hobbyist type justification for considering it; I know I've come up with several personal justifications already.

Also, I find it interesting that his erection suddenly subsided on the third day in the hospital.  Yeah, right... tell me there wasn't a happy nurse walking out of that room five minutes earlier.

Bottom line: if your going to shoot cocaine (or anything) into your dick, make sure you get the best out of it by having a three day orgy lined up. :-)

Stay at home on your couch and live forever.

Thanks for the "Heads Up" Lisa. I have been using    Cialis  and Viagra  as prescribed by my Doc, for   one year , not  necessarily  just for ED, which I don't have, but  for  post-prostate surgery. (It gets the blood flowing to the surgery areas and  helps in healing). The worst side effects that I have encountered are runny nose and slight headache, so, I take an advil before taking the  Cialis or Viagra, then I take a toke of my fatty,. and then  screw non-stop for four hours as the  woody subsides (NOT)
FH

Thanks for the information. I don't use ED's now, but at my age, who know's how long it will be until I do. I guess the saying is really true, "No good deed goes unpunished."
