She told me that she does not do bbbj or daty because her provider friend came down with gonorrhoea in her throat.

He friend did not show symptons. She urged her friend to get tested and the std tests came up positive for gonorrhoea.

Her friend had doing bbbj.

and it is pretty low risk of contracting stds orally!still you can never be too safe and getting tested regularly is a must for anyone partaking in the hobby! also did you know you can even get an std in your eye now? pretty crazy!

an STD. Actually, if gonorrhoea were the greatest risk, I'd get BBBJs every time--oh wait, I DO get a BBBJ every time it's offered. Let me rephrase that: While clap is no walk in the park, I bet if it were the greatest risk of BB intercourse, we'd all be partaking.*sigh*

How much does it cost to get tested for STDs? The reason I need to know is that I would have to do it on a cash basis at a clinic, not through the regular doctor or through my shared insurance.

Thanks for any help you can give me on this one!

From $300 - $1000. It depends on how extensive you want the test to be. The basic test cover hiv, gonorrhoea, chlamydia, herpes, syphilis. You also want to get tested for hepatitis. Not sure if there are any hpv tests. They will take blood and urine for samples. The clinics like to put a q-tip down the tip of your penis (old fashion test).

Providers should get tested at least once a month. A hobbyist that hobbies a lot (different) provider 4 times a year.

Unless I'm mistaken, these guys are required by law to keep your health records private unless subpoenaed in a court case or... Even then only the relevant records applying to the court car is released.

Also, there are ways to get tested for hpv, herpes, and hepetitis without implying you have been hobbying. Just be creative by researching similar symptoms and etc.

As for minor stds, just claim that you have a sore throat or something and most doctors prescribe antibiotics right away lol. It gets rid of most of the minor stds anyway.

If you must avoid insurance, there are free clinics in almost every major city. Go to the less upscale cities to find them. Don't expect a comprehensive test though.

Just google it. There are several national chains that offer comprehensive testing from $250 and up.

It may provide testing a lot cheaper than what is noted above.

San Diego County California asks $15 for HIV/STD tests.
