As a long time member I love the sense of community TER makes me feel, like I belong. Proudly perverted here for 20 years and counting. I feel thankful to have connected with like minded individuals. I am thankful for TER. I appreciate all the fun times.
Finding incredible beautiful women, sharing thoughts on the various boards here, making friends back channel, sharing info, keeping everyone safe, etc etc etc. I really cant narrow it down to one thing.
.
I came THIS close to leaving the lifestyle just a few miomthst after I first started years ago. I saw an ad for TER somewhere and just lurked for months on end. A few ( a guy and a girl) decent people took me under their wing to show me what's what here and I was hooked!
.
TER is responsible for SO many memorable moments in my life with SO many beautiful women. What better compliment can I give them than that?????
I’m not a fan of the other hobby resources I’ve come across, and pretty much hated the review site (EC***) I “had to” use the times I visited Texas. I feel that TER is, for the most part, reliable. I don't feel the need to spend valuable time posting in discussion much, I comment somewhat sparingly, and only try to help when I feel that I can. I can easily ignore or simply skip over what posts don't deserve the attention, and only feel obligated to pay it forward by leaving reviews for others. In short, I appreciate (or love) TER specifically for the reviews.
Good DB of reviews and a non-ad driven experience to boot!
Stumbled across this wonderful site and found what I was looking for, Which was a place for honest reviews and what I found was even more.
I have spent countless hours 'reading' threads and I mean pretty much every topic on the discussion boards going back only 3 years (so Far). Despite some of the ball busting (yes, some really enjoy it) and a very small group of individuals thumping on their chests over all it has been wonderful.
My life has been a series of massive up and downs, twists and turns and flat out full speed at times. While not new to companionship/hobby, Truth is I am VERY new to this site and the format of which it provides, I mean who knew this was a place where you could seriously read reviews on the lifestyle?
The HOWEVER comes like this, when leaving a less then great review and you get a member sending a private message berating you because you only have very few reviews, well that was a WTF moment and knew right then some men never leave the playground of elementary school. Honestly,, is it totally necessary to leave a review on a provider that has a proven track record?
Spent a few (over all ) hours chatting with providers on topics, including the O.G. poster on this thread, so much so it allowed me to relax and enjoy the reading, thoughts and reviews, overall the experience is very positive.
Realizing some here posts every meeting, some post to post without seeing a provider, some post as a shill if you will, Some are in a race to become TOP reviewer in a regional area, or Master of certain types of providers ( think K-girls).
Nice topic Queen, one day soon we will chat along the water eating your favorite sandwhich.
lol that is a true statement hilarious 😂
Happy Valentine’s Day! 💋
one day soon we will chat along the water eating your favorite sandwhich. Promise….😁Smile for me!
Regarding the necessity of reviewing a provider with an established track record - while not strictly necessary, it is a nice way to recognize her service and contribute to her business.
Potential clients will browse the new reviews section and a review will allow her visibility in that area. Plus a provider needs to maintain a certain frequency of reviews to keep their profile listed on the top 100 listings which also boosts visibility. I also personally enjoy reading my reviews and gaining feedback from the content.
Unless the provider in question specifically does not care for reviews I would encourage you to take the time to contribute even if it seems redundant from your perspective.
Because TER is a shadow of its former self. When I joined in 2010 it was great. The reviews were vibrant and there was a group of posters, both men and women, who had a lot to offer. I actually made some real friends, partied with some memorable ladies and found a few wing-men with whom I'm still friends today.
That all ended when SESTA/FOSTA caused TER to massively over-react and shut down the US part of its business. A lot of girls who didn't like the review culture went elsewhere and never came back. People generally moved on. TER opened back up but never recovered.
So I'm left with a feeling of sadness of what was and will probably never be again.
Might TER recover? Sure. And I sure hope so. That's why I'm hanging on. But as time goes by that becomes less likely.
But best of luck to those members trying to keep this place alive.
Unfortunately, I have to agree. I still like TER but it is a shell of its pre-SESTA/FOSTA self.
I think the rise of camming also had a role and diluted who plays in this space.
That said I recently met a new play friend through here that had made life a lot more tolerable.
I feel like regardless of fosta/sesta, those who oppose "review culture" would leave.
This is a site that does reviews...and doesn't remove them at just any whim. This - to my knowledge - goes against the religion of "review culture" opponents. Hence why they left and created echo chambers on social media where they aren't evaluated or criticized.
They were just done so at other review site(s) and also by back channel.
Lol. Being criticized in back channels is like protesting in private at home. That's not criticism. If a tree falls down in forest and no one to hear it...you get the idea.
Being criticized PUBLICLY is what's important here.
As far as other sites yeah I've seen how many "other sites" handle reviews.
People against "review culture" mostly appear to not want their products being reviewed because they don't want to be evaluated fairly and criticized. In fact, there is no "review culture". It's simply people's rights as consumers to publicly offer evaluation of something. Now that everyone is on internet, some don't like that.
Or non existent. That is where I and many other experienced guys get the real info...by back channel. So it's actually a tree falling in a forest and SOME people hearing it, but not the masses. I would argue the private info is actually more important than the public info. Much more, imho.
.
Many, many women who left TER eventually allowed reviews on another site. Even girls who were initially against "review culture" were open minded enough to look at another way of doing things. They did so bc they felt they were getting a fair shake somewhere else. So really, you could say it wasn't providers being against "review culture" but being against "TER review culture."
.
Both sites have their advantages and disadvantages to be sure. If you look at my reply to QB in her pro-TER thread you will see how much I love it here and how many great women TER helped me to meet over the years. That being said, there was an argument to be made that when times changed, TER needed to make changes to stay relevant and they chose not to, and that was their right.
My back channels are solid for the market and segment of the hobby I'm in.
I agree with you I generally get better info from back channels. There's no argument there whatsoever. I haven't had vip here in a bit and still am able to get info.
I do hope you understand there's a big difference between twenty-odd people seeing something in a private group, and everyone who reads TER seeing it.
I'm a simple guy. I want as many people get the info. This is what the whole point of reviews. The difference here is you care about sellers reputation in public space and I don't. At all.
I care about truthful info.
And that's the thing about "review culture". It really is distilled down to not wanting to take accountability for bad reviews. It isn't exclusive to this hobby either. Nowadays I hear makers of products that fail blaming youtubers giving bad reviews, for their products failing.
No one takes accountability anymore and everyone is afraid of how they're perceived on the internet/social media.
You know that old saying about someone who built dozens of bridges and fucked one goat, he is known as a goat fucker? Well thats the same thing. No one wants to be known as goat fucker even if they in fact fucked a goat. So criticism is suppressed.
As far as ter culture, I'm not trying to argue in this cozy thread, but imo ter reviews are on the better side. We've had this convo before and every time my post would get removed when I referenced specific sites.
Ill say this again without mentioning those sitws.
Sites that allow sellers to remove reviews aren't review sites. Inmates don't run the asylum. Kids don't grade their own homework. Companies don't investigate themselves.
So yes they left for echochambers where they are perceived better than they really are and where they can fool themselves.
And remember, it may be NUMEROUS, private, back channel groups and NOT just the one with the 20 people in it you mention. And back channel was only 1 of the 2 points I was making as, like I have stated, in addition to private communications, there are other review sites.
.
Regarding one of those sites, which will not be named, you are grossly misinformed about what goes on there. TERs main competitor does NOT "allow sellers to remove reviews." Trust me on this one. I have seen enough bad reviews there and have spoken to numerous providers about that specific issue so I have no idea where you got that from. You should really stop talking about things you know nothing about.
.
If you want to talk about that other site more in depth, I would be more than happy to have that conversation. Privately, of course.
Word of mouth is usually the best, especially if it involves people we know.
Here's a simple question for you.
What is better for a monger, one who isn't in any back channels -
Read info that is publicly available, or try to join some back channels that might not even have info on the specific seller?
And when I say for a monger I mean for a monger. I don't mean for the seller or their business.
I know it might be hard for you to answer but I think it's a very fair and straightforward question with a fairly straightforward answer.
The only reason you oppose public info sharing is because you care too much of what becomes of seller business.
In all review communities people want public reviews and PSA that warn them and prevent them from spending money. Because these are good for consumers.
But in this biz you for some reason want info to be shared privately so that the seller doesn't get their biz impacted.
Isn't it the whole fucking purpose of a review site ?
Or are ter foruns only reserved for some bullshit small talk with no concrete criticisms? And all the criticism and business is done in back channel?
Who does it benefit for private criticism to stay private?
Surely doesn't benefit mongers as a whole. Why wouldn't ALL mongers want to know of a bad session publicly? Wouldn't it help if not someone not even on ter would Google it and the first thing is PSA about a bad sesh?
But instead you want that info to be spread across only the back channel. Lol.
I know exactly what I'm talking about. You forget that I literally have read and analyzed thousands of user reviews, and not just in this hobby. I know all those sites and have read reviews on those sites. I know what people who actively use those sites think of those sites.
They might not possess the irrational empathy you have towards sellers, but they possess knowledge of value.
Sure we can take this in private. I also had another interesting question for ya so two birds with same stone and all that.
A couple years back I asked on one of area local forums on TER, whether they know of any agencies who engage in bl behavior for reviews.
A guy pmd me and told me about such an agency.
I of course mentioned this tidbit when people were talking about reputability of that agency on the boards.
The SAME guy who pmd me about this, came and disagreed with me publicly, going against everything he's said privately.
I promised to not say his name originally and I'm still honoring it, but guys like that exemplify how certain people are willing to lie and withhold info when it comes to posting shit publicly.
And ter is a public platform. Why wouldn't you want info that implicates a seller, out in public?
And conversely, if you want info on sellers who had bad seshs privately, but not publicly...ie you choosing sellers who gave someone bad sesh, over other mongers who otherwise would get that info....that's for sellers you never met....what will you do for sellers you actually met and liked when they get a report of a bad session? Just rhetorical question really.
At least prior to SESTA, the board had MUCH less censorship. Last time I was active, your buddy GAG would get my posts removed and moderators would censor my posts when I got into it with you.
Funny, I check in maybe once every two months and I run into this thread. Thankfully, there are other places for the info I want. The TER reviews still serve some purpose but TER allows the Hookers to delist. Other boards don't operate that way
LOL @23-7-10
TER is what really got me started in this lifestyle. I had this stereotypical image in my head of women in this business - cold, no passion, businesslike, etc. I thought "why pay for that when I can do it myself?".
Well, after getting VIP I started reading reviews of women I'd see on Backpage and I was shocked and surprised. I said I'd try it once to say I did it but that didn't turn out as I originally intended lol.
Nowadays I don't find a need for the really detailed reviews but it was the reviews that led me to where I am today.
I've only had one really bad experience and a handful of average times but I have met some truly amazing women in this business, with you (QB) being an outstanding example. Women like you make it a very worthwhile and satisfying experience.
I’m blushing 😊 gracias mi amor besos 💋 see you soon my handsome lover & friend! 🫶🏽
Oh, and if you read this (and I know you lurk here) I'm talking about you too Nicole.
I like that there are a few people that are kind on Ter. Plus we all talk things out
Only a few? -EOM-
on TER, so she may mean there are only a few of HER kind of people. You never know how many words might be left out of a sentence. Lol
Review sites come and go, but none compare when it comes to detecting fraudulent or self-written reviews. Of course, no system is 100% perfect, but with your own research, TER has remained the #1 review site for over 20 years. I trust TER for accurate and reliable reviews.
Yes, it’s useful once you learn to weed through the shills and fakes.

But the structure of the reviews here allow one to better accomplish that effort than other sites I've seen. Certainly the BB type sites where reviews are just scattered around in the posts makes it difficult to track the reviewer well.
DC Area: Stumbled onto TER after getting into the hobby after finally taking a leap after seeing some nice EROS ads. (back before it went to crap).
Saw Miki Todo and and Juliette Monroe......both long retired, but got me hooked......
By no means do I see a ton of gals, but a lot of it is determined by reviews and also a "hunch" after reading reviews from "veterans".
I don't know how any newbee would dare get into the hobby without TER nowadays.
I am brand new here so I like the potential for community I can engage with and add/receive value in short. I do see potential for great things and not so great things (for lack of better words) as I guess is with anything social on the internet. So far I love the respect and open communication from the community. It's a big plus for me!
