If the man is freshly showered, then NO, Certainly not!!! There's something about the right out of the shower smell that makes it one of the best aphrodisiacs.
As far as colognes.... Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein Obsession, and Polo Sport always turns me on!!!! It kind of depends on the man, though because they just have to find the one that jives with their body chemistry and their sense of style. That's not always an easy task......
I prefer not. For one, many scents give me an allergic reaction-I'm sensitive to fragrance, and two, men need to learn to use LESS! Guys, guys, I LOVE you, but use less. When you come to visit me sometime, remind me to show you how a woman should smell you when she first greets you - I'll know what you're talking about. But anyway - subtle. It's hard to say which fragrance I like the most because often I really prefer the natural scent of the man - it's uniqueness. I do like Obsession; I do like Cool Water, but then they smell differently on each man. I can tell you some scents I don't like in soaps and deoderants and it actually turns me (other women)off! But never to offend..
Good question..lol. To much cologne is to much since we might wear something nice and if you are wearing something ...what a mix. Most of the time I want wear much since you will have to go back to your life with no traces. On the other hand, if I start to smell like you I will never get out of the shower and everything in my room will point to your visit. So ....please not to much...favorite? D&G...Dolce and Gabbana...so yummy but very subtle. Cologne shouldn't follow you around like a blanky of nasty airpollution...it should accentuate who you are and go nicely with your skin's scent.xoxo Nadia MakeLoveNotWar.
Touche, Nadia! As I appreciate those providers who do not wear perfumes because I do have to go back to another live without traces, I refrain from using colognes because I'd hate to leave traces behind that someone else has to deal with. Clean, fresh and natural are my modus operandi.
As long as it isn't patchouli oil I'm fine w/any of them used in moderation. Please have a care for others olifactory nerves!
I once met a person wearing patchouli & I had to ask him to take a shower as it gave me a fit of sneezing like I've never had before. Not to mention it smells terrible. Might as well rub a skunks butt all over yourself.
As for other colognes. Moderation is key. If you can be smelled from 100ft away - it's too much. If you have to replace the bottle once a week - it's too much. If you notice folks turning blue around you - it's too much. lol There's a girl at work who probably pours it over herself, everyone in the office has to hold their breath when she passes by.
Personally, I never use men's fragrances! but I do use body creams..from health food stores...best ones ( and the ones that I consistently receive great comments from the ladies)are either a vanilla scent or some version of cocao butter/coconut. Great simple fragrances..from balls to nose! Always noticed and much appreciated! And, I believe research indictates that these scents have a positive influence on female/male sensory organs...and other organs too! Give it a try!
