I agree with some of the gents that it may be a little impersonal. But everyone has their reasons, it doesn't mean that the girl is lazy or dumb. To the individual that said that, it was a bit unnecessary and derogatory. But everyone has their own take on the subject.
I know that I myself and a few other Canadian ladies use a booker while touring in the USA. Since the laws in Canada are permissive of outcalls, I am familiar with the market and my surroundings I take care of my bookings while at home. But due to the different legal environtment, being in a strange place, and not really knowing the market I find it helpful to have someone else vet my calls when in the USA. I did take into consideration that some gents may not want to deal with a third party. However, I was ready to accept losing a couple to maintain my comfort level. When I post my touring ads I do say: "contact my assistant Sandi." Deception is no good.
I am wondering how guys feel about bookers I run a booking agency and I was worried if I start putting in my ads call my booker will guys steer clear its better to tell the truth right than act like the ladies I have been struggling with this for a while now please respond thanks
I see the reads please reply!!! HELP???
so leave my ads the way they are and if some1 brings it up then say........ Thanks really was wondering
It's better if your bookers are female. In which case there's no need to put anything in the ad. When someone calls assuming the booker is thang, she can just say 'Oh, sorry, thang's not here right now. I'm her friend _______. When would you like to see her?' (or something like that).
Otherwise, if your bookers are guys, definitely indicate that the number will reach an 'assistant' or 'scheduling service' or something like that so it isn't freaky jarring when someone calls. No horny guy wants to call a woman and unexpectedly get a guy's voice.
And it's OK to use punctuation in your posts. Really.
But I'm not militant about it. A few of my faves use bookers or assisitants. I understand and it's OK. I would not ,not contact a lady I was interested in simply because she had a booker. But as I said , I for one prefer direct contact. The exchange of emails...telephone conversation etc begins to give me a vibe about the lady. And I think that kinda works both ways. What I absolutely hate is when I sense deception....in other words the booker or assistant is pretending to be the provider. Be honest and up front.
I've never had to deal with a booker. Actually, I take that back. There was this one girl I thought I was talking to thru email and it ended up being her 'booker'.
Isn't that right, Little Phil?
So, after that I always talked with the lady. It's simple. Cut to the chase, even explained what I wanted and what could I do for them. It's more personable.
Hey, it's their time and their body. But it's my money and my time as well.
Personally, I think a booker is someone that is a luxury for a lady that is either too busy to do her own screening, too lazy to do her own screening, or too dumb to do her own screening.
That's not say I wouldn't go thru one again. There's a lady in Vegas I'd like to see, and her booker is(was?) a provider as well. I would just prefer not to. But you gotta do what you gotta do if you wanna see a certain lady.
Don't think you're gonna get much positive feedback on this subject, but I applaud your tenacity. It's always a learning experience, good or bad.
Just the way I am. I understand there are reasons to use an assistant, but when I knock on the door, I would like to have already talked or emailed directly with the lady.
I understand it's a business. But when you bring a third party into the party, unless it's a threesome, kinda takes away the illusion of the fantasy.
Part of the anticipation is when you talk with the lady before you meet.
It's always an uncomfortable situation when you meet somebody new. But when you hear their voice, and put it to their pix, and that's who answers the door? Well, that makes for the start of a good time in my book.
But it also depends on whether you book with Indys or agency gals. With indy's, some have assistants and some don't. With agencies, of course, you never deal with the gal herself. I care mainly that when I get through the door she looks just as hot as her pictures did (or better!). I could care less about the rest.

I will not book. I might ask about it on some local boards or backchannel.
If you imply you're an indy and I learn you're an agency, I have a problem with that. I'll also ask around backchannel.
If you say in your ad to contact your assistant, I am OK with it because you are on the up & up about it.
Hope that helps. Good Luck!!!![]()

I think it takes away from the personal experience. Sometimes emails before a session can really help bring on the steam, and sometimes a succinct, but personal, email AFTER a session will garner interest in additional sessions.
I have only dealt with a couple over the years, and each time they met my needs, so I have no problem with them.
If they allow the gal to be more efficient and smooth the whole process of making the date, then more power to them.
