Occasionally, I read The Smoking Gun site which sometimes has interesting bits about people being arrested.  Sometimes, there are stories about celebrities and even mug shots.

Perusing the site today, there was an article on the upcoming trial of a D.C. madam.  In the article, it talked about an LAPD detective who has created a lexicon of terminology used by prostitutes and johns.  This lexicon is being used in the trial, and is being circulated to police departments around the country.  Everyone who uses TER should note the second page of the sample pages from the lexicon posted on The Smoking Gun website.
