It would be intreesting to know about what % of providers flake the first time you set a meet.  Hobbyists: what's your experience?  Providers: do you flake?  When, why?  Why flake, not cancel?  Anybody: what are the warning signs of flakery-to-com, or are there any?  Should a first-time flake get a second chance?

and I haven't figured out any rhyme or reason to it.

If I do, you'll all be the first to know.

In Reno, my experience is about 1 in 4 are no-show, no-calls. There really aren't alot of well reviewed providers in Reno, and most jump in and out of the hobby frequently. That basically leaves cl or other such sites. If you know how to read them, you'll do ok, if not.....rip-off city!!

in my book, flaking is not defined just by a no show/no call. Showing up is only half the battle, getting a quality session being the other half. Ladies are fully aware that if they don't show up they don't get your money.  So many will show up, but won't deliver the expected quality of session. To me, that's also a flake experience.
