who he was other than I heard he was a comedian.  I was at a cocktail party and they were talking about politics, so I made a few attempts at humorous wisecracks, as I am known to do.  A couple people said I was as funny as Steven Colbert.  At the time I thought it was a compliment.  Then a few weeks later I watched his show for the first time and realized it was a put-down.

Even though they were best known for the infamous "Louie Louie."  The latter song is actually much more appropriate for this thread because of the persistent rumor it had obscene lyrics.  Here's a link debunking that but I still can't listen to the part where they sing "I smell a rose in her hair" without thinking they're really singing "I shoot a load into her hair."

But I honestly can't believe that millions of people found him entertaining enough to suffer through thirty minutes of him on Comedy Central each night, much less the hour he gets each night now. I guess no one has ever gotten rich underestimating the stupidity of the American public.

my education.  I thought Summa cum Laude was Italian for "some cum loudly", the opposite of "summa cum dolcemente."  I see both kinds of girls.   Sometimes, you're the mood for a screamer, and sometimes you're not.
