With the new 15-minute posting rule, I noticed a feature that tracks an individuals posts, and their status.  I don't recall seeing anything written about it, and apologize if it's already been addressed.

It's in the Account Manager section, and lists each post, the board it's on, it's status, and reason for it not being posted if that applies.  I suppose that was just an admission of guilt, but it was only one. :)  It seems that someone didn't appreciate my razor wit.

Click on account manager up top - and then on the left menu there will be a link that says "Board Posts".  I had two posts denied for no apparent reason - and the reson listed thre says "unknown".

or I just never noticed it before. I also had one that was "not allowed", but no reason.

there were a couple of my posts that disappeared... and I wondered what happened.... while this did not offer an exact explanation - I was able to figure it out!!!

nice!  TER is getting creative - and I like!!!!

And I have a few "unknown" also. I can put two and two together. I didn't think they warranted being quarantined, but whatever.

That feature went live about 9 am this morning.

Unfortunately we did not have the ability to tag the messages with the reason why we did not approve them until 24 hours ago so older messages will show unknown as the reason.  Newer posts will show the correct reason why the message was not approved.

Kudos for an excellent new tool.  I'm curious  - was this an in house suggestion, or a user suggestion?

I have several thousand unmoderated posts over the years. I don't welcome this change whatsoever. Here is the complete text of one of my posts "not allowed for reasons unknown"  I attempted to post this on the Newbie Board a couple of weeks ago

"We are supposed to be nice on this board. Even mean old bullies from the P&R board. lol

Everyone is entitled to make a mistake every once in a while. Give the lady a break."

I defy anyone to explain to me why this post was not allowed, that is of course if anyone ever sees "this" post. I have been playing within the rules for years now, why should those of us who have supported this forum for years be punished for the acts of a bunch of CL refugees?

and the reason is "unknown" we should know WHY it's not allowed??

They are supposed to be marked "unknown" only if  they were posted before the new tool was put in place..... afterwards their should be a reason. One can of course contact staff... cheers luv

It was in the original design.  In an effort to bring the message boards out quicker we just did it in 2 parts. There are MANY new features being worked on right now.  Stay tuned!

If not for them I would have the dubious honor of beig the  most active poster. I have to confess, TER's new policy of moderating "everyone" will probably curtail my posting at least a bit. Of course it won't slow us down a bit on the P&R board where it is business as usual.
