6 month old article about Vermont City considering decriminalizing sex work.

Several questions come to mind:  

I consider myself "decent folk" except for the 6-8 hours a week I'm fucking providers.  Then I can be as indecent as they come, and it keeps me from becoming an "uptight ass hat."   It would be interesting to see how something like this would affect the local real estate market for awhile in case our own local politicians decide to follow suit.  I would never move away from a concentration of providers for moral reasons, but I hate losing money on real estate.  I don't mind driving to see them.  

Staties and especially feds are not getting involved in the day to day stuff that local vice cops do, so there should be quite a change.   It's not unlike legal pot which is going on unimpeded in all the states that have legalized it.   The feds just don't care.

These are all state laws. As far as I know local  municipalities cannot overturn state law..

Last time I was traveling through, I visited one of legal brothels in Winnemucca.

Everything that I've read about the legal brothels in Nevada indicates that I would not be very happy with the service provided.

I live in Burlington, a deep navy blue city. Politically, it’s not dems vs. republicans, it dems vs. progressives. That being said, there are NO quality girls in this town. It’s better to hobby in Montreal, about 1 & 3/4 hours north. And quality Canadian escorts are much less expensive.
