This is horrifying news, Cheese. A sad time for us all. I did see this on the Vegas board - thanks for bringing it to the National Board. I'm in contact with someone who will keep me aprised of the news on this.
Be safe, everyone. If you feel unsafe for any reason, have suspicions about someone, let someone know! Even if it means blowing your 'cover' - your life is too precious not to.
I understand she was a longtime personal friend, and I'm sorry for your loss.

God Bless,
Sedona

What a tragedy.  My condolences.  Sounds as though this is very close to you...I hope you've got somebody to talk to.

Man, for every high there certainly is an equal low. All the celebrating this weekend, and then this news.

I've always held women in the highest regards, no matter their profession. Being new, and posting often I feel as though this were somehow an extended family. Close-nit, like-minded people sharing ideas, laughs, thoughts and information.

I am so saddened to hear of this loss. I didn't know her, and a crime of any kind, much less something so tragic is unforgivable.

My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

Jim

This news sickens my heart. God bless this womans soul, comfort her family and friends and deliver her murderer to justice by swift arrest and lifelong incarceration.

I rarely watch the news, because even without being in this business (which is frightening enough) there is so much violence.  So why feed paranoia?  I got very sick reading a Vanity Fair article about the Hussein brothers...that's when I stopped reading about the war. As well, my Armenian hairdresser, informed me, blow by blow, about what was being broadcast in his fatherland about the war ...

Just watched the news tonight...much violence, including arrest and allegations to Kobe Bryant.

Frustration and energies seem to be mounting these days.  Adversity brings out the best and worst in people.  Read Megan's post about mean people. (LA Board, I think)

So, now about Alexis....those men who are angry about their lot in life might find it justified to take things out on a "lowly prostitute".  Hurt, or pressured prostitutes might rip off men in terms of energy.  (See thread about Russian providers - LA board)

Even in countries where prostitution is legal, women are very often considered less than human.  I don't know the details about Alexis's horrible meeting with the murderer, other than what was publicized, only I wish and pray that this lady had some comfort from an angel  while she was finding herself being slaughtered.

Truly this is a heartache.

Unfortunately, there are some really bad apples out there....rotten to the core.
...and their elevator....doesn't run all the way up....stops at their shoulders... just as in the case Today in the Lockheed Martin plant in Ole' Miss., Today. Its just too bad that nobody could not head these dirty bastards off at the "pass" or why these cowards did not end it by them self after they had woke up on the wrong side of the bed as in these two terrible situations.
May the victims rest in peace in heaven and the dirty bastards
whom did these kind of things rot in hell! Amen!

I am not sure that this thread is the correct place for this discussion but I do feel obligated to respond this post.  I read that thread when it originally came out and reread it after seeing your post.  Other than a couple of posters who might not have been sensitive enough or offered unsolicited advise, the other people who responded to your post were sympathetic and condemned the ripping off of a provider.  I invite anyone who is interested to read the original thread and make up their own minds.

It is your right to pull your original posts if you so desire but IMHO if you believe in your posts you would be better served by letting them stand.

I believe you are a nice person but can't agree with you on this one.

My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. I feel  there definitely needs to be a provider board, or something to warn each other.
