The thread below brought up some excellent points & legit. concerns ( LE, personal hobbyist info. being "outed", etc. ) In my long hobbying career, I've only seen independents & avoided agencies for another reason ( & perhaps I'm mistaken about this ) is that my intuition tells me that agency providers are more expensive than indies.

An example : one looks at an agency website & sees many stunning providers with the same hourly
rate of $$$$ or more. Isn't that just an "agency fee" & "tipping" is required to get the "FS goodies" ? And wouldn't this require some "menu upselling" & haggling on the part of the provider & hobbyist? ( which I detest, btw ) & If this scenario is correct ( & I'm not saying that it is ),the hobbyist could be shelling out up to $$$$$$$$$$.

The reason I'm bringing this up is because is  there are some beautiful agency ladies I'm dying to see but then these "economic concerns" pop up.
Are these "economic concerns" misconceptions on my part, I've been missing out on hot agency babes all these years & I'm full of shit ? ( not the 1st time that charge has been levelled against me on this board------

There are some excellent & reputable folks who run agencies who post frequently on the boards; if they can tell me that I'm wrong ( along with agency providers & hobbyists who frequent agencies ) then I'd change my mind about agencies ASAP.

Just research any agency girl like you would an Indy and you should be fine. There are hundreds of reputable agencies that charge in the $$$ range without upselling or haggling.

Now OTOH if you plan on using the LV Yellow pages, you are probably in for an expensive lesson. lmao

As far as having "micsonceptions" yes you do, as far as being "full of shit", that's a conversation for another time and place. lmao

but it seems to me that if agency upselling were prevelent, there would be lot of complaints on the various local boards about it; and I can't recall the last time I've heard of such a thing.

On the other hand, if you see a photo for a gal whose looks are a 10, and the rate is somewhere south of $250 an hour, your better judgement should tell you that it's too good to be true, and that you should either expect to pay more; or the photo is a fake.

Clients need to always apply some common sense to what ever we come across.

Sticking with reviewed providers should be our first line of defense.

Obviously there are many upselling, B&S agencies, but there are also many reputable ones as well.

Just do your research the same way you would do on an Indy and you should be fine. Isn't that why we are here in the first place, or are you just here to play "whack a troll" on the P&R board? lmao

Pria, I've been doing this for a very long time and the reverse is true for me. More times than not with indies than agencies, I've been told that "BBBJ, or greek, or FS, will be another $50-$100 sweetie". That's when I don't let the door hit me where the Lord split me. Sayonara bitch.

Research intently, and you should be okay. Don't know where you hobby, but there are 3 agencies in the local area that I deal with, and never any upsell involved. Gorgeous ladies too. Price is not always a good indicator of quality. I've spent $250, and I've spent $1,200 on providers, with no discernable difference in the service given. These days, being what they are, I tend to stay in the $250-$300 price range.

If you can get to Toronto, I've seen spectacular young ladies there in that price range. Never had any mention of upselling either.

There is reference in the New Testament that tithing shall simply be of 'good cheer' so-to-speak. 10% is Old Law. Many churches use the 10% theology because of overhead and overhead ONLY!

& if my misconceptions are proved wrong,I'll be a very happy hobbyist, since that will give me a wider variety of choices.

Don't know where you are but it's not an issue in my area. I'm all about agencies. No upsell, no agency fee, no required tipping, no haggling. None of the things you are accusing them of. There are some agencies you need to check out. Check out the agency ratings on this site. Like anything else there is the good and the bad. Look at the reviews. Donations are shown. Do your homework. Bottom line, you just wrong.

Now I do not know what city you are looking for ladies/agencies I can only speak about Vegas.There are a couple of agencies here that are flat rate 100proof and I cannot remember the other one.In my experience as I used to be an agency girl before being Indy and majority of Vegas agencies will upsell you to death I cannot speak  for any other city.I think these agencies that do upsell give Vegas a bad name and then Vegas is stigmatized  as being bad place to see a provider which is far from the truth.The agencies that do post here I would think would be a flat rate if not I am sure there would be a lot of talk about avoid these places for being deceptive on the different boards.Sometimes the Agencies rates are more than Indy,but if the agency has a good reputation and a hot lady you want to see.Go for it!

I've used three different agencies in the last few months, and all of them did right by me. There was no upselling, no "agency fee," no required "tipping." Each time, I got all the service I asked for. No complaints here.

Of course, each time I saw an agency girl I did so only after doing my homework, just as I would with an indy. Sticking with well-reviewed providers applies whether the provider is an indy or an agency girl.

I've used three agencies after using only independent girls, and now I won't go back. Yes, there was something about the unpredictability of BP that was exciting, and yes there were some great finds and great value. But... a couple of bad experiences and suddenly being $$$$ out of pocket, followed by consecutive good agency experiences, and why go anywhere else? Find a couple of good agencies with a variety of girls (if variety is your thing) and go to town. Why take a chance elsewhere?

Plus, BP is becoming a more dangerous place.
