Question mark for a reason. Is there a certain thrill in NCNS a client at this level? Are you that busy in the summer that a response to a email is beyond you? This is not question if the service is better. More of should I expect more at this level. Based on my experience today, the answer is no.
Sorry that happened to you. I feel that if more money is asked, then EVERYTHING has to be better than the lower cost alternative. Appearance and performance have to be better, and so does the professionalism.
Adding price to a service is only doable when you're adding value as well. Punctuality and communication are key factors to that value for me.

I'm not sure why you would think there is a certain thrill at them at level? Why would it be Exclusive to that rate? Regardless of rate NCNS is poor behaviour...

Just thought maybe there is a short term thrill at having me wait for the call. Along the lines of I'm so busy and in demand that I have them lining up to see me. NYC ladies on a power trip perhaps. Funny, I met a really nice girl from a Ohio while I was waiting. Next week, I'm going to be a tour guide. I guess the evning wasn't a total loss. I am still money good, and I met a new friend.
The higher the lady's rates, the more she loses by flaking out on an appointment.
Of course, using "common sense" in such cases is almost always a bad starting point. lol Sorry you got stood up.

In answer to your question, YES I expect more from a higher-priced provider. Also, for what it's worth and although my results are not scientifically validated, I have never been NCNS at +500 and generally get a more professional experience in the screening/planning/arrival stages.

For supporting my stupid rant. I've read many of your posts about NCNS. Funny thing is, I knew about 24 hours ago, the meeting was not going to happen. I just wish that the lady would have fessed up so I could have gone home early.
Now I'm confused. I've been NCNS'd, it sucks, and you have my empathy. But now I'm confused. What do you mean you knew the day before? I guess I'm wondering how did you know, and why not find someone else?
I had a sense that the session was not going to happen. I usually set up appointments days ahead of time. If I have to confirm the meeting, the chances are 50/50 that it will happen. If she confirms the meeting, the odds are much higher. In this instance, she said she would send me the incall details the night before. Guess what? She didn't send the details and I had to ask her the next day. The result was a NCNS. It's about motivation.
Then she did not NCNS you, she blew you off for whatever reason. The failure occurred when she failed to live up to the prearranged confirmation. Doesn't make it any less painful maybe but a great deal of the NCNS falls on you because there WAS NO CONFIRMED DATE, period. Flaked out, dusted you, sick, mama sick whatever, SHe NEVER CONFIRMED A DATE....maybe not right but you certainly should have known better when you received the first signal.
You learned not to capitalize random words. Good for you. But you capitalize multiple words? Whatever. Please know what you are talking about before you post. You don't have the e-mail trail so you are just speculating.

So either she did or did not fail to confirm the night previous and when you asked the next day did she or did she not confirm or do you just have a hard time putting this in some sort of logical order?
I know what you mean. When you set it up way out in front, but then you're confirming with her rather than she with you, and you get that sinking feeling. Yup. Sounds like you had the date booked, but then when she doesn't give you the location details when she said she was going to, you pretty much know the situation is fucked. But if you book someone else and she then comes through, you look like the asshat.
That being said NCNS from either the girls or the guys at any price range should be unacceptable.
The other question is if she got hold of you tomorrow and offered to quote "make it up to you" would you see her?
Every time I stray from Asian ladies I am reminded why I love them. They know what time it is, and know how to keep an appointment. I'll deal with their neurotic tendencies, because that works for me. Latin time or Island time drives me nuts!
Asians are more reliable in my hobbying experience; both AA and women in Asian countries. It's cultural.
and IMHO it has nothing to do with her rate. It is just life, and we all share it's ups and downs.
That being said, a NCNS sucks and is rude as hell. There is no reason someone cannot reach out and cancel in advance or communicate an apology after the fact. At any $$ rate.
My approach would be to give her a day or two to reach out with an apology and create an opening to make things right. If no contact, I'd move on. If I really wanted to see her, I'd maybe reach back out to her a few months later.
NO sense getting too bent out of shape about it. This is, after all, supposed to all be in fun.

Post her NCNS on your local board. There have to be consequences for this sort of behavior, otherwise she and others will continue to do it. If they see that there are negative consequences, it serves as a deterrent in the future.
