How Old Are You Anyway?regular_smile

I am curious. How old is the average Hobbyist? I am sure this has been addressed on the board before but I didn't have time to peruse the 12,000+ pages of discussions.

As I have written reviews or posts, I have often assumed that I was probably one of the older hobbyist. But as I think of my "Men's Club" days, there were many gentlemen at the clubs my age or older and they were usually the ones in the VIP rooms, which means spending more money.

Obviously, this can be a somewhat expensive hobby and a serious hobbyist needs to have a certain amount of disposable income or as I call it "mad money". Thus, it seems the Hobby might lend itself to older gentlemen.

Anyway, all that said I am 54.

How old are most of the Hobbyists?

...though many who know me would doubtless say that 12 is giving myself too much credit for maturity.

I feel ten years younger than I felt three years ago, which is when I discovered this world of ours!

Ah, but I was so much older then
I'm younger than that now

Dad, you  do it like an 18 y/o with mad skills... love you much...but remember "love is just a four letter word"

Look like 40.
Feel like 30.
Act like 20.
Whine like a 5-year-old.

At my age I have the means to entertain the lovely ladies and the experience to savor every moment with them.

"I always enjoyed the company of an older woman - Now I've caught up with them"

Dom

on supporting me in my old age....  actually I have 6 who call me Dad and they are all from the same woman.  My ex.

I have 5 all from my wife of almost 34 years.

You didn't think I was going to say sex did you? No way. I was just going to say that true confession is good for the Hobbyist, but not for the providers. I am guessing not as many of them would respond.

But then you should never ask a lady her age anyway.

and get it up for these chicks. I have all 3, Vigra, Levitra and Cialis. What a great time to be alive.

I'm 57 and vitamim V has ruined my life. A year or so ago I was perfectly content watching porn. Now all I want to do is spend whatever money I had for stashed away for retirement on really cool providers.

Hey Biz.

I'm 55.
I have a 9 year old, and am going to have my grand kids, ages 2 1/2 and 6 mo, for the next 6 months.

So I guess that qualifies as having the "youngest" kids.

LOL and HELP!!!!

Just my opinion...

most TER polls are accurate, but if the NYC board is any indication, at LEAST 60% are over 40. (I'm early 40's). If the TER poll is to believed, then 2 out of 3 (66%) of hobbyists are 22-40. I know this isn't true in NYC !   I think the guys that are likely to respond to TER polls tend to be younger, and I think some hobbyists lied about their age. Anyone else have thoughts about this?

First of all, the older folks are less internet-savvy than the under 40 crowd. So I suspect that TER members tend to be younger than the average age of hobbyists. In the DC those who participate in the discussion board tend to be older, probably us older folks have less pressure at work and family so it's easier for us to goof off. :-) Also, many younger folks are probably shy lurkers. :-) I guess the poll could be a true represntation of TER members but not of the active participants. Just a thought.

Now why would anymore lie about his age in an anonymous poll???

I definitely have thoughts on those youngsters hobbying.  Lies, damn lies, and statistics.

I'm 44, been hobbying for two years.

Yahoo! oops, patent infringement, I mean Ya Hoo!!! I turned 54 in december, and I was a Hobbiest before there was a name for it. Too bad considering there are guys with 10, 20, 50, 100, and an astounding 200 plus reviews. jesus! I only wish I had this oppotunity back in the 80's. I had to rely on the yellow pages, word of mouth, "provider" (nice description) referals when I got my feet wet and being, well, honest, also, had the money. And back in the day It was almsot affordable.

Started hobbying when I was 47.  Fear of LE held me back until I found TER.  TER set me loose!!

Started with strip clubs when I was 18.  Probably averaged 5 nights/week in strip clubs during my 20's.
Money has always been a limiting factor, and adult entertainment has always been a big item in my spending.

I'd have to say this keeps me young.

As some of you know I just finished a U.K. tour. London, Edinburgh and Dublin where there were on average much younger. Must be the booming economy OR the fact that a lot of younger men want to enjoy the older woman fantasy. I said that was the AVERAGE. Yes, some were in their twenties. That is true here also. It works for me but I love you ALL ages.

What a JOB!

i think im the youngest of all...i dont hobby anymore considering all the young ladies at clubs and parties and such...but an aoccasional trip to an amp doesnt hurt.

Based on your age ... your career as a hobbyist was short lived. However, once you get tired of the clubs and you will ... you will probably rekindle the fire.

Take it from me ... TiredofMensClubs
