Got started a several months ago.

This past Summer I found the credit card statement that had the charge for the hotel I stayed at so now I know my exact anniversary date.

I played the "old school" game for about 7 years after my first marriage ended.  Got involved in a long-term relationship that ended a couple of years ago.  Started playing the new version of the game in 2010 and don't plan to stop.

I was 32, attending a conference in Boston. Called an agency out of the yellow pages and had a good experience, believe it or not. Didn't see another escort for ten years, so I wouldn't call it a "hobby". When I was 42 I "swore off" civilian women and started seeing escorts regularly.

About 5 years ago, I realized there were experiences I wanted to have & would never unless I went 'outside'.  With my personal health clock ticking, my ability to have the experiences is likely  limited.

when the wifey was unable to take care of me due to medical issues. Finances were tight so I could only play a few times a year. I had a steady girlfriend for years. I won't hobby while dating.
Some of my friends were under 18! Watching them get screwed over turned me off to this for a while.
The backpage crew you know? Actually back then it was Craigslist. Bait and switch, cash and dash 50% of the time.
And damn those girls were ugly! I could easily bed a girl like that for free.
My friends were so fucked up on coke they didn't even care.
I saw it as such a waste, and dangerous to boot.
It was a huge leap of faith seeing an escort after seeing that.
I did not know about TER, and I had no way of verifying her.
I was shitting in my pants. It worked out though. So here I am.
I probably would have started at 28 had I not seen the dark side of low hanging fruit.
