Over the past 20 months, many of us drifted away. I only found out about the full restoration a couple of days ago, and a couple of lady friends I've spoken to since then were unaware. Both expressed cautious optimism, but are measured, and want to see what unfolds over the next few weeks before deciding if it's safe for them to return. I'm taking the same approach before making a decision to resign up for VIP.
Many of us agree with Crazy D and are taking a wait and see approach. TER board might want to think about a "We`re baaack" VIP discount as an added incentive to re-up our memberships. Good marketing strategy I would think. Since TER went on sabbatical most of us made the necessary adjustments and are now getting somewhat used to the new way to hobby. Make no mistake, I LOVED TER and learned so much over here and met and made friends with some terrific people. The discussion boards and the provider reviews were a priceless source of info. I found my 3 best ATF`s here and still see them regularly.
Another thing is that when this site went on hiatus many new sites sprung up to fill the void. Some are doing well and others not. Sure would like to see TER return to prominence as they set the bar high and could again. The amount of users online increases daily as the "There baaack" word spreads rapidly. I hope they do.
At first it ws, no reupping unless TER did away with the VPN to get in...They did that! Then it wait to see if the ad boards came back….They did that! Then it was wait and see if people start returning...they are doing that. The Profiles are back, reviews back. Users online has grown. Ladies can now link reviews to there P411 profiles again.
There will always be reasons not to. Maybe re-up for one moth or 3 to see how TER continues to improve. It is so obvious that TER has pulled out all the stops to recover. Why not make an investment to help them succeed.? And this is not pointed just at you, but to all who are hesitating. but *hoping* TER gets back to where they were. I'll add with other venues coming in to fill the gap, even if they don't end up as strong as they once were, 75% would still be huge. It will take more than hope to get them there IMO. Steph XO
