I have always been curious what happens to the pops as we age. I just turned 40 and find two pops an hour only possible with the right girl and right amount of time from when I last had sex/jerked off ( usually 3+ days).

I was never a two pops guy. Then I know guys who had 3 or 4 in an hour.  
There are probably as many variables as there are people.

Seriously, 40 seems kind of young. I'm 56 and 2 pops in an hour with the right girl is not unusual for me. I like to give myself 36 hours before an appointment to be sure.  

That said, I'm not sure my 2 (or even 3) pop sessions are necessarily better than appointments where a gal takes me to the edge and keeps me there.

1 hour usually isn't enough time.

Here's my breakdown:  

Meet and chit chat, cocktials = 5 to 10 mins
Undress, warm up, her in the bathroom = 10 mins
Forplay, exploration = 5 to 10 mins
Primetime! = 15 to 20 mins
Euphoric state and relax 5 to 10 mins
Clean up and get dressed = 5 mins

Times up.

Maybe I'm wasting time somewhere, but I like to enjoy a woman's company and don't always like to rush.

Other factors: knowing I'm on the clock really kills it for me. (Especially if she is watching the clock)
Second pop with a condom is a tuff one, a enthusiastic hj or Bbbj is much more effective.
If I had 1 hour after the 1st pop, it wouldn't be a problem, as long as we had a good connection.
Having 2 ladies is always great, but I always book more than an hour.

of providers after I reached age 55 that can get two pops from me in a one-hour session.  I like getting two pops, so that is why I most often book two hour sessions.  Its a comfortable non-rushed pace that affords me the time I need to recover and go again.  

He was pretty healthy and active though which i'm sure helps.

I am starting to get older, in my mid 50s. I saw a provider in June and got 2 pops in hour. I swim 2 days a week and lift weights 3 times of week. I also make sure that I have a good meal for going out on a 2 pop/hour adventure. The other key is that provider has to be slightly gfe/gfe. Another trick that I use is to drink a small can of pineapple juice between pops, it is a great energy booster. My refractory (pop recovery) time is about 10 minutes.  Last but least the provider has to turn me own, I have to get an instant boner from looking at her ads.

Not sure there is a solid scientific answer to this question. How about "At what age can you no longer pop twice in an hour?"

I'm 65 and i did 2 pops not long ago.  I definately can do 2 in a 2 hour span.  Need blue pill help though

If your weight is good, you eat well, stay hydrated, exercise, etc., you might be able to achieve that still in your 50s.   I seem to recall the last time I managed two in an hour I was at or near fifty.

 
Of course, it depends on the gal as well.   If she is a hottie and a good technician, that helps a lot.   I see one gal who almost always gets me off twice in about 2 hours, and I'm 64.   It takes some doing however.

 
Sort of like golf where it is said that you should be able to shoot your age, I'd propose a gold standard that if you can come twice in the same number of minutes as your age, then you really have it together.

I've been hobbying for 10+ years and usually spill one cup in the hour.  Darleen was the best of all and one time she sucked three out of me in 30 minutes.  The only reason I booked 30 minutes was because the agency said she did not have a full hour available.  I bet if she were still around she could get three out of me.  I rarely spill two anymore.  Don't even spill one every time either, but I always enjoy the hour!

But not that often in an hour session. As many have said, it's the voyage not the destination ... But I sure enjoy it when I do get there.

I'm well over 40 now, and I have no problem popping twice in a 60 minute appt.  Does it have to do with girl?  Maybe.  My current fave is DAMN hot for sure, and I'm not discounting her skills as being the reason I'm still able to.  I never noticed any difference if I "saved" myself prior or yanked off the night before.  When the little one rises he always sprays when he's done.  
 
Lately, I've been upping my time and doing 90-minute runs... the goal is always three.  Now there's where I've not always made it.

Yep, sounds about like my experience. Once I hit 50, twice in an hour wasn't happening, regardless of the circumstances or the woman (pro or civvie). Twice in two hours is possible but it does take some effort from both of us, so it certainly helps to have a woman who has a "don't quit" attitude.

Approaching 64 and one of my faves can get me off twice in a session...but the sessions tend to be extended runs, with a break or two along the way, plenty of hydration, etc.

"Cumming your age" does seem to be a reasonable standard.

 
I shot my load so fast as a teenager, I am pretty sure that at let's say age 15, cumming twice in 15 minutes was very doable, by age 30, 30 minutes sounds about right and now at age 58 if cumming twice were really the goal, I am sure I could go twice in an hour if I put my mind to it.

 
The thing with me however is that to get off twice in an hour I'd have to pop the first time in 5 or 10 minutes and I am simply no longer wired to cum that quickly. I turned 60 this year, and sometimes I can manage 2 in an hour; sometimes I can't. I'm definitely not overweight (on the slim side, actually), so that's not a factor. I don't smoke, drink, or taken any drug that wasn't prescribed for me, and generally eat pretty healthy. My chances do seem a little better in the morning than the afternoon or evening. I think it's just a natural part of the aging process, and just like the onset of puberty, it hits at different times for different people.

I've seen guys in their 20's who are completely wiped out after a session and 70+ individuals that'll cram 2-4 pops in a session. So I don't think it's a matter of age more than it is a matter of appetite.
