How does the cold and icy weather...

We live here, we're used to it.  A blizzard might be a different story as travel is just not safe but plain old cold weather is something we are all used to.

No longer in the hobby but has not affected my real career at all, being I work remote. Seeing the schools closed in my area, the accidents, and what not, then realizing some guys will deal with all that just for a nut, kind of makes me chuckle a bit. I screened for a lady in Chicago and she still had guys begging for her to go see them. My response was, "You are free to drive in this mess to get to her location."

I lived in cold weather for many years. But this sounds really bad.

So are you from Alaska?

Once I was cross country skiing with a woman and we got naked in a snowdrift out in the middle of nowhere. There were lots of cosy nights by wood fires or just buried in blankets. And of course the sauna parties. But still... Surrounded by glittering silent snow made me feel so cut off from "real" life-- whatever I thought that was.

Due to the weather being unpredictable, I'm getting mostly last minute requests which is tough since I work. Maybe the weather is preventing advance notices.

There is an awesome girl in my town, and I just found out she has a friend who I haven't seen...

busy time of year believe it or not (for a low volume lady that is). However, I've had to reschedule at least 2 or 3 appnts due to the weather this year that decided to rear it's snowy head. But yes it deff keeps you on your chilly toes lol. Warm those hands gentlemen and crank the heat lol. Better yet, if there's a fireplace in sight...light it up ;)

Buckle up people, February hasn't even begun yet...it's the worst month yet typically here in the Northeast. Hopefully Mother Nature will go easy on us. But I bet, as I had predicted that this winter was going to be a bad one (we were way overdue)...most people won't take Spring or Summer for granted this year that's for sure.

But I do get a lil break in the action thank god. I'm talkin' about a place where the beer flows like wine. Where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. I'm talkin' about a little place called..........lol. Nope, not Aspen, but close LOL.

I just can't wait to bust out my heels again...can't where them now. And boots, well boots are super hot but still nothing like the selection of heels most women have.......soon I keep saying...soon lol. I think most ladies here will agree with that.

you skip the cab to the restaurant and simply eat at the hotel restaurant or order room service. A little extra BCD time is a good thing!

More seriously.. The cold isn't a problem. Snow and ice can be. I guess it depends upon where you are back East. Some areas seem to take it in stride and are GTG while some seem to shut down the at first few snowflakes. It's not a bad idea to have a backup plan in case someone has to reschedule, if snow or ice is in the forecast.

I promise you can laugh at me when it's 118 outside.   That's when the $300-$500/night resorts drop to $89-$199/night with credits for poolside beverage service thrown on top!!

anyone else care to 'chime' in on this one.........I'm gonna smile and leave that one alone (I think). If one more 'gentleman' (I am assuming) attempts to 'correct' me about one more peddly thing.......IMA gonna............OK maybe not.....

It's a quote from Dumb and Dumber...look it up. It's most DEFF 'salmon' LOL. Don't mess with me and one of THE most hilarious movies of all friggin time. Come on.

And yes, I will be first in line next November to catch the second one...cannot wait.

It's friggin' colder than shit but no big deal otherwise. Been going to work, no accidents the past two days because all the parents are forced to stay home with their kids who aren't in school. More cold please, my commute is much easier when the schools are closed and the asshole drivers stay off the road :-)

It's the swallows that always seemed to magically return on the same week every year. But a few years ago, they magically stopped returning on time. Global warming? Who knows. I find it poetic to think of salmon taking their place. I like to do that with aphorisms like: A stitch in time is a penny earned, or The longest journey starts with a pebble in your shoe.

It's very warm out here in California. But dry. Not enough rain. Not enough snow in the mountains. Bad for the slopes. I don't ski anymore. But the tomatoes might not do too well this year. Oh, we'll, into every life some rain must refuse to fall.

I hope that clears everything up.

I remember the Minneapolis Airport was completely snowed in for weeks and we were trying to get a cyc delivered to KRNT TV in Des Moines. Small thing that caused a lot of problems for a lot of people including your truly. That doesn't have anything to do with anything. I've just been thinking about those days tonight. It was a different time, of course. Quite primitive really.

How the women would wear tight sweaters and the cold would give their nipples erections that bulged out under the cashmere. Lots of Scandinavian women in Minneapolis. It was a fun time.

LOL. I've got that Scandinavian heritage...  grew up with a sauna and even jumped into a few snowbanks. A Swede family get-together is like vodka in the freezer, shots and shouting “Skål!”, a sauna and jumping in the snowbank.
