I recently had a discussion with one of the guys about a girl I was considering seeing who has a no reviews policy. I have seen a few over the years and have been pleasantly surprised a few times. In each instance, I proceeded with the date only after obtaining credible behind the scenes intelligence.
So, when I asked about this girl the guy told me he'd seen her and was disappointed. He said her pics were old, she was heavier, service and attitude were lousy. Obviously I am not going to see her.
If a girl asks me to refrain from reviewing her, I always respect that request
The question, however, is if a guy sees such a girl and she misrepresented herself in several ways, and therefore, basically ripped him off, should she be reviewed despite her policy? It seems to me that in this instance, she relinquished any courtesy that might be extended to her regarding reviews, and I'd want to make it known so others would not have the same experience.
What do you all think?

Let's forgo all the 'only see well reviewed girls' comments, and agree that is the norm and that this type of scenario is risky.

But then again, I have heard of many ladies doing favors, or extras for good reviews.  It's a rating system that is flawed in my opinion.

Edited to add...

Review her! Bait and switch and old out of date photos are a no, no. And TER is here for the purpose, her actions are not acceptable and should not be tolerated.

I won't say this for ALL the ladies who have one, because I know some very reputable providers who don't like reviews, but many are trying to protect a 10 year age difference or a double wide ass, from being outed. If you're asking for over a grand a date, you have a lot to lose if certain details about your appearance or service get out. I know a few UTR, high end ladies who have older reviews here, and they suddenly stopped...yet, the providers are still active. Most of the scores they received were not exactly flattering for someone charging so much.

I usually ask the lady if she wants to be reviewed but I would think TER would have some safeguard in place.

I know a lot of High Dollar, High End girls that have a "no review policy" not because they have anything to hide, but because they want to appear "low volume" and "low mileage."

Some of the Higher-end clients will not see girls that have a ton of review and have slept with every Tom, Dick, Harry, and Harry Dick.

They do it to set themselves apart from all the rest.

It's all a MARKETING PLOY.

many of those same women have crappy reviews from years ago, too. I know several providers who have pulled their profiles or gotten banned on purpose, because a guy dared give them an 8...their inflated ego, could not handle it.

LR, as you stated, there are many reasons for such a policy, and many are legit.
But, should a guy who finds a double wide ass on a 55 y/ol who's pics show a single wide from a 1990 photo shoot, ignore her policy and post a review?

The thought of being rated like beef is a complete turn off and that reviews set one up to have to deal with guys who expect what the last few got.

Also they might want to avoid being held over a barrel should a boundary or two get pushed and knowing full well a bad review in retaliation is possible.

And then some ladies just don't want what happened behind closed doors out there for everyone to see and have her name and fee linked, even though it's a third party "fantasy" with illegal acts.

And, some may not want reviews to simply avoid the types of guys who need them.

Finally, she does not need them  and does very well without them. Some guys like the discretion level and have no problem seeing unreviewed ladies.

I would always respect a lady's request not to be reviewed. I can understand that some "low volume" ladies want to keep that impression alive. The only exception for me, and it doesn't matter if she is "high end" or "low end" is if she blatantly misrepresents herself. Granted, it is perfectly acceptable for women to "lie" about there age; but if she posts 20 year old pics on her website or otherwise falsifies her "advertising" I feel it would be my duty to report this in a review. Hey, I'm never going to see her again. Plus I think I would owe it to the majority of ladies that are more "truthful" about themselves and help weed out these "derelicts."

Yep, I would write that review and use your ALIAS to do it. Also, make sure you hold on to the email that confirmed you two met, so she can't go with the old "I've never seen this person" shit. In the past, that is how many of us had fake reviews removed...the guy was full of crap, and he could not prove he ever met us.

I don't think it's acceptable to lie about age. This hurts the girls who don't do it because if she says she's 30, we all assume she's really 40 because it's acceptable to lie.

Maybe she lives in a small town....Makes it obvious!
Maybe she has enough reviews already.
Maybe she was outted and posting a review would do her harm.
Maybe there's another board in her area that's scum like and she wants to avoid having her name on that site.
Maybe she's lives in/grew up in the Bible Belt therefore her upbringing makes it so uncomfortable to have such stuff publicly displayed therefor prefers to keep it at a minimum
Maybe a few guys told her she could increase the scores they'd given her if she saw then for free when she returned to ther area next month.

If, and this is a big IF, her looks can back up the age. To me thats not a lie. If someone is 43 and she looks 38, she sould list herself at 38. But be honest with yourself or get opinions or you're going to get stung in reviews. But from seeing too many ladies who claim to be 29 (seems to be the age of choice, lol) that are really closer to 40, thats where the deception is a problem for me.

I am not sure about the rules here as far as advertising goes, but I know many other boards who will not allow you to even have a profile or place ads if you don't want reviews. The ladies simply lie, and tell guys not to review them, so they can keep advertising. Seems like a bit of a contradiction to be begging for business on a review board, if you don't want REVIEWS lol.

Ok, but now you understand why some providers lie. If you guys are adding 5 years already which is not accurate, she can't put she is 30 without you assuming 35. I was 26 when I started in the biz and my first review was in 2008. Do the math...my profile is spot on, because I just changed it last month MYSELF.

If a girl shows me a good time and asks not to be reviewed, then I don't review her. If we switched places, and she reviewed me against my wishes, I'd never see her again and trash her on a provider board.

If a woman fails to show you a good time, and is deceptive in her advertising, then what do I care about her "policy"? I'd write the review and warn everybody else about her. I'm not talking about some YMMV experience, I'm talking about fake pics, upsell, providing very poor service (or none at all), etc.

It's your choice to review or not, and a courtesy to forgo reviewing at provider's request. She still had to earn that courtesy.

But I do add 5 years, pending the girls age. If she says she is 22, no, in that case I dont. But when I see 29, thats just a bogus number, in my experience, and she is proly mid 30's. Some girls have been 29 for 10 years in this biz! lol. And I certainly understand why they lie. Most guys prefer younger women. Its a fact. All things being equal, a twenty something is going to get more contacts than a 40 something. Its when they misrepresent is when I have an issue. I make a huge difference between a white lie and a misrepresentation.

And there is a very large percentage of men who specifically steer clear of the young ones.  Despite posting my real age, business has never been a problem for me.

I think it may well be a misconception to say "most" men prefer younger providers.  I don't know the real stats, and neither do you, but I call bullshit on your automatic assumption.   I actually suspect the 30-something aged providers may have the largest audience because they are young enough but also mature enough.

And no, just because a vocal contingent of mongers on this board prefer younger providers does NOT mean that it holds true for the population as a whole.

An email stating right up front that you do not want any explicit reviews posted ever, they tend to comply. If you are not advertising and not visible, there is no reason for them not to. A lawyers letter also helps.

Give a guy a choice between a 42 year old woman and a 28 year old woman and I would be willing to bet most guys would choose the 28 year old, again all other things being equal (reviews, money, etc) Can I prove it? No. Its not an assumption. Its my real world experience. And yes, I would agree 30 somethings have the bigger audience for they have a a larger review history and there are more of them. And why would you assume I get my real world experience only from the "vocal contingent of mongers on this board?"  Thats is just a piece of it.

Yep! IN fact, every time we do a thread about what guys prefer, they always say over 30. Many have said flat out they won't even see girl with a 2 in front of her age, if they are over 50...and guess what? Most guys in the damn hobby are in their 50s and 60s.

Also, look at the HIGHEST ranked and HIGHEST PAID providers...80 percent of them are 30 and above. Nuff said.

I've been to enough M&G's and seen these women in person and can't believe men give them 9's and 10's based on their advertised age and look. Who the hell has laugh lines and crow's feet if they're under 35? I'm in my 30's and look 25.

write reviews. To them, this is just a place to find ladies advertisements like some ladies who just come here to post an ad aren't interested in airing their business. In some cities this is only place discreet non-reviewers can find ads, so just b/c they're looking here doesn't mean they're into reviews, just like those ladies who don't want them, meaning I don't see it as a contradiction, just a place for any like-minded people to meet no matter what side of reviews they're on.
