yes, that is exactly the problem. There are even some providers with lots of reviews written by guys who have only one review and they may be valid, but in my view, but to be safe than sorry
No credibility whatsoever. Geez! You and I have seen some of the same gals and I assume you know how to do your homework. No homework to be done here. So many great, well-reviewed gals to see. Don't waste your time.
Play it safe. Stay away and keep an eye out for a reviewer with a track record. If's she's legit, one will show up. This year there was a provider with several great reviews like you described - reviewers with no verified track history. On our regional board, the same question came up. That was the end of any new reviews. Best guess it was an LE sting.

Stranger things have happened than a new provider just getting a profile on TER, so don't always assume there must be something wrong. She could very well just be NEW. We were all new at one point, though I think my first 10 reviews were from guys who had been at this long before I started.
Thank you for saying that! I am new (UTR). I have one review from a credible hobbiest! So does this mean that I am not trustworthy? How am I supposed to be trustworthy? He thought so. All anyone that has to read my review would know! Thanks for standing up for the newbies!
and a review from a 1st time reviewer does not make YOU less credible, it just makes the review less credible.
The OP has been here long enough to know this, and that's why he is catching flak. A review of a woman with only one review by a first time reviewer is meaningless in the vetting process. Even a single review by a credible reviewer, or even better someone the potential client knows personally is all he might need to get a comfort level. but an unknown guy vouching for an unknown lady does nothing to help the process along. At least not to anyone who knows how to research.
The OP's point was, not only was it her first review but it was her reviewer's first review. Classic case of a possible shill, either by her or by a friend. It is very rare for TER to post first reviews to a provider who doesn't have any herself. Of course, it might be legit but I'd stay away.
In that case, I would pass if I were a client. Now, I don't automatically assume she is not legit, but a first review (especially a 10/10) from a first time reviewer, screams bullshit.

My guess, is the IP address gave her away. There was a provider on the newbie board bitching about her reviews being unapproved and Admin. flat out posted in red, "We responded to your PM in less than 2 hours. I don't think you want us to tell the board why your recent 10/10 review was pulled" lol. I almost dropped the PC I was laughing so hard.
