There never is a day that goes by where I don't get po'd because some gent asks me..."well can you do a little better on the price?". How insulting is that? And even more, if a girl goes down on her price because she's desperate...I more than guarantee that you're not going to have the best possible experience with her. I was watching..two and a half men..earlier this month and it was an episode where Jon Cryer wanted to meet with a call girl. His question to Charlie was "what can I get for 200?" and Charlie said,"crabs". Charlie said to pay about 1500 to meet with a girl if he wanted a good experience. Now when I first started and I saw the prices that girls were charging my mouth just dropped to the floor. I've seen girls charge as low as 50 all the way up to six figures. So what is it that tells you that it's okay to tell a girl that she is too high. Maybe you and I can look at it together and choke at the audacity. But that's just it...it's her body and she priced it how SHE feels it's worth. You may get better service from the low priced girl than you would the high end and vice versa, but it's based on the individual and how much they're really into it. I told myself that I'll start charging 4k+ when I build an amusement park for the guys. It'll include: two pools, a sauna, a jacuzzi, a champagne room,and  a pole in each and every room including the dining room. LOL, but that's just me.

Anyways, I guess this is more of a rant. Because when I first started I was LOOOWWW lol LOOOWWW. Until I met with a guy who was shocked and explained to me what message I put out with my price and the avenues that were out there. Everybody has different values of money. Some girls may look at my price and say 'I wipe my ass with that type of money'  and some may look at it and say 'That ***** is crazy'. My main point is for the GENTS, if a girl is too high and she puts non-negotiable on her page please respect it. You're e-mail will more than likely go in the trash anyways.Besides there's no bigger insult than telling someone that you feel they are cheaper than they're worth.

I am new to the hobby but learned quickly to respect the lady and her request for donation for her time.

My first encounter with a provider was nice. She was cool and beautiful. But she let me talk her down.  I was drinking and cocky as all hell. But we agreed on a price and we went off. The experience was still fun, but it could've been better.

The next time I met a provider was a very convoluted experience. Totally on my part, not hers. But I texted her, telling her what a shitty time I was having in LV and she took control. She told me for this much she was going to make my frown upside down. I didn't even think of questioning her for a few reasons. One, we talked beforehand. Two, she is SOOO hot! And three she is SOOO hot!!! ~

Anyway, we met, and spent many hours together. And I'm talking fully clothed, having drinks, giving other people shit. Well, I was anyway! She was totally gracious and lovely.

And then we ventured up to our room and had some of the best sex I've ever had in my life!

Of course the night came to an end, and after walking her to where her car was parked it took me all of 10 minutes to text her and ask her what she was doing the next night. She said she had to check her posts, but other than that she was free.

I asked her for a repeat and she accepted. And that night was even better!

My point is, guys, respect these ladies. They put a price on their time just like you do for your job.

I saw this coming before ANY of you lurkers get the inclination to jump my shit for lumping all hobbyists together that would insinuate that we're all bargain hunters and/or disrespectful of the ladies' and/or their time!

Anyway, when I realized that these ladies have the same obligations as we do, I became aware. They have rent to pay. Some have kids to raise. Some do it on their free time to obtain some of the finer things they wouldn't be able to with the pay they get from their 'conventional' jobs. Just like you and I would do.

So what gives you the balls to ask them to 'discount' their time?

I've been called a 'white knight' before because of such posts. Doesn't hurt my feelings!

The fact of the matter is, when I contact a provider because I want to spend some time with her, she should be confident in telling me what she wants. If I can't, or don't want to, give her what she wants, then it should be a mutually respectful parting of ways.

If you're lucky, either she will post a reduced price in the future. Or you can come across a windfall that wouldn't hinder your ability to accept a lady on her terms.

Either way, RESPECT is the word of the day. You respect her on her terms, she'll give you the time of your life!

I have never negotiated a rate and never will.  Not because it is "insulting" to do so, but because I want her feeling good about me.  I just don't see her on her "A" game when working for a discount, but that's me.

As for it's being insulting or disrespectful to ask, well, I just don't see it.  I'm in retail and deal with negotiators every day (even though the price of each item is clearly posted).  If I'm ok with their offer I take it.  If not, I don't.  Either way, if properly approached there is no reason for anyone to be offended by the attempt, just say no...

It gets a little more personal when someone tells you, in a way, that you yourself are not worth a certain amount. As much as we ladies tell ourselves it's only business, this can be the most emotionally taxing of sales jobs.

To the OP: I agree and have had a similar path. I started out with rates way, way lower than I have now. I had no idea how to market myself, no access to a good photographer, and only a basic grasp of what the market was like. I was lucky in that my previous education and experiences had taught me how to make a website and use the Internet, otherwise I wouldn't have even had that. Unfortunately, so many ladies stay stuck in a rate rut and continually undersell themselves. If you're an established provider and good at what you do, RAISE YOUR RATES to as high as the market will allow. It's higher than you might think. Grandfather in your previous clients if you're concerned about alienating them, but take the risk; you're worth it.

I agree that a posted rate by any provider should be thought of as the final tally and not asked about. Also any availability posted by the provider should be respected. If she states she is available Mon-Thur then don't ask for an appointment on Sat.

With that being said I just wanted to do a devil's advocate on the "selling yourself" thing. I don't think any provider is selling herself, she is selling a service. She is providing a service for the client that is very personal and intimate but she is in no way selling herself, just her services. If someone does cross the "polite" line and ask about a special or discount or whatever then it is being asked about the service not about her personally. If taken in that context, I don't see why a provider would get upset about it. Just answer yes or no and move on. The client is not saying that you, personally, are less worthy, but just wondering if the service you are providing could be less costly.

I think that all this stems from the larger differences between men and women (which is a whole other issue that can't be delved into at this time). Just remember ladies that if a guy takes the time to contact you, then he already thinks you are worthy. If he then tries to get a discount, then he is asking about the acts and not about your self-worth or self-esteem.

I'm no longer hobbying and won't come back unless and until my current civvie stops seeing me.  She tops all my hobby experiences. (No, guys, you can't have her telephone number or email.)  I still read here, though, and thought I would chip in.

I had a price point I wouldn't go above but I would never think of trying to ask for a discount.  That's bound to cause some resentment affecting performance even if she accepts.  There are clods in all areas of endeavor, though, who never learn or don't really care about getting better bang for the buck.  

Whenever I see a high price I have two thoughts, 1) more power to you gal, if you can get that, and 2) I envy the guys who have enough disposable income to spend that kind of dough on this hobby.

Anyone selling a personal or professional service is in effect "selling themself" whether that  person is an attorney, an accountant, consultant or whatever, all these people are "selling themselves".

FWIW in many countries virtually all providers negotiate. To pay the stated price doesn't make you a "nice guy" it makes you a sucker and not worthy of respect. Of course I realize that is not the standard here, just thought I would mention it. Not everyone in this business takes it as an insult.

But what about specials some ladies offer at times? Will she be cheapening her services along with the lower price for admission?
Sometimes situations may dictate it, ie. pending vacation, repairs on the bunny mansion, etc.
Gotta tell you, due to budget constraints, I can't get out there nearly as much as I want and I still to a price ceiling. And I really don't feel like blowing it all on one lady if it means waiting another 6 months!
Is there anything wrong with asking your dream girl who may be just a bit beyond your range that, if specials come up or the situation arises, you'd be there in a heartbeat? I'm not talking about asking someone who normally gets $1200 to take $200. But even a hundred could make a difference. Just my $0.02 (discounted from $0.14)
