I learned the hard way that a deposit is all too necessary! I used to give so much grace and hope things would just pan out, but implemented a strict deposit policy following multiple NCNS. I like that the deposit keeps *both* of us held accountable for our time! Plus, my deposit transfer policy is pretty generous, so even if the client has to cancel, it just means we can move the deposit to account for another time instead
