So really they're just doing a public service in their minds.  Noble, right?

Same posters who shouldn't play on discussion boards.  These folks just can't handle the heat...and have TER playing for them.

I don't expect it to end any time soon...unfortunately.  Maybe someone in TER Admin can finally realize that those few who can't handle the games here should tell those "cry babies" to go elsewhere?  They've done it already...but then let those same "cry babies" back in :(

It's the guys that post drivel and are somewhat "sincere" on it...then realize they are complete tools based on replies that are the worst offenders.

So they'll change up a handle...try it again..same pathetic results.

And the gals that have no fucking sense of humor.  Thank God for most of them, they are fun to play with.  But those that just have their heads so far up their asses...equally as pathetic as the guys.

And frankly I don't have issues with any of these folks.  I love it when they post their garbage.  But then they can't discuss their nonsense, and cry to TER about how mean some of the guys/gals are.

I put this on TER to clean up the mess they've created with this sophomoric behavior.  They are the only one's who can stop the tree trimming and such.

Curly on the OP.  I didn't inquire, but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt for pulling for the right reason.

I completely agree about the RAP, though.  It's pablum for the pussies.

There is little left to the imagination as to why it was put up in the first place.  And FWIW Curly simply expressed the obvious.

But as I commented, she is hot...let it play out.

Using your logic (are you Vulcan by any chance?), the thread should not be allowed at all, since it is nothing more than an ad for her.  She's expressed that she is seeking buyers in the 25k range...sounds like an ad to me :D

I rather think that too many (probably the same losers) complained about the "direction" of the dialogue.  That seems to be the trend over the past months.  Hopefully TER will wake up and realize that the "majority" enjoy the dialogue, and not allow the few that hit that RAP button over and over to ruin the playtime festivities for the majority.

As I suggested on that pulled thread....if TER would actually read this crap, they would understand that only a few members don't want to play.  The majority seem to either have NO issues and move along, or actually enjoy getting dirty.

Maybe if TER would ban those that were previously banned (and I'm NOT referring to the mods)...we could indeed see boards come back to life.  Just a thought :D

Hate that the PC types do - deciding what's worth posting regarding the hobby, sex and erotica.

She posted about a website for hooking.  That's within the forum topic.  Worth of the post topic shouldn't be an issue regarding staying up, hat should be left to the reader to determine when deciding whether or not to respond.

s it a pseudo ad?  Probably, but so what.  When you bottom line it, the vast majority of providers only participate for marketing reasons- some are just more subtle than others.

Also, she's hot , so why not.  LOL

I hate the Mangina posts , but I support that they should be posted.   That's the difference between us and them, we don't want ANY censorship.

Because you cracked that smile.

You know that if I had my way...NO threads or posts (aside from those that out personal info) would come down.  It's simple to just move right along if it's a topic one doesn't like.  Kind of like it used to be.

I am surprised that the censorship on a fuck board is so high.  But it is clear at this point now (being that it's been about six months of this crap) that those who are "in charge" want to not deal with any of this.  Perhaps it's already been outsourced to China...no need to read or interpret any of this as it is just too easy to pull a post when the RAP light goes on.

Oh well...I hear that there may indeed be some light at the end of the tunnel...AND I don't believe it's an oncoming freight train :)

RRO,

... if people take the time to read up on the forum rules in each forum, then their postings would not be pulled.

Everyone needs to be responsible for your own posts.

Blaming others for your posts being pulled is infantile and stupid.

TER makes the FINAL decision if the post gets pulled or not.

Keep in mind, TER is running this website, not you or anyone else.

If people don't like the way things are being run, they are most welcome to go elsewhere... or they can setup their own website with their own rules.

Just my 3 cents.

perhaps TER should put some monthly ceiling (5?) on the number of posts any individual can report in any given month.  Or reqire two or three complaints before bothering to look.

If a lot of readers are offended, it's one thing; if it's just a few people playing board cop, that's something else.  I get offende doccasionally, but have never bothered to report any post.

Still, I like the concept of self policing by us members in theory.  To paraphrase-there need to be rules, but they are there to serve us, not the reverse.

Yep...you'll cry to TER about this one too....no shockers here.

Hey...want to tell us about your other site that didn't want you there either?  All of TER wants to know!!

Not really...maybe if you're nice they'll let you back there and you can go and disrupt their boards instead!

of the boards.  This is the overall posting policy :

"Criticizing ideas and opinions is a normal process of debate and each person should expect to have ideas challenged. That being said, personal attacks such as denigration of another person's character or value have no place in such discussions."

So, and again for clarification:  If I reply to your post with something like this:

Well Capricornus, I disagree with your opinion in the post above becasue I find that it lacks substance as it does not address the discretionary nature of some of the posting policies as they will be applied by different staff moderators with no prior notice or explanation of how that diescretion will be exercised.

It would seem to be an acceptable post as it applies to your opinion.  Is that right?

Now, and again, just for clarificatoin by such an expert as yourself, and with no real offense not intended (does a double negative negate?)  if I were to reply thus:

CapricAnus, You are an insufferable, bloviating bore who's smarmy posts add nothing of value to the boards, but rather detract from the forum as you are a stalking POS who has resorted to transfering your obvious self loathing to your victim, and by extension, this community.

It would probably be pulled if it were really a real post, which, of course it may not qualify as real, but is really part of this real post.

Is that what you meant?

Butter,

When people report a post that they think may be in violation of the forum rules, TER makes the determination whether in fact that the offending post may have or have not violated the forum rules.

We are not board cops, the TER management are.

TER makes the FINAL decision, not us.

DC,

Since you have read the forum rules/policies and you still don't understand them... ask TER for clarification.

It's their board, not mine or yours.

Or... you can always re-read the forum rules.

What it really is saying is that some members don't have the ability to stand on their own two feet and defend their own posts.

Capri

You are technically correct, of course.  But I get the feeling that once a post is reported, admin may err on the side of pulling it. I don't have any ideas what the numbers are.

I probably like a kinder and gentler board than CCPA, but do we really want to encourage people to push the button whenever they think someone has broken a rule.?  It may be giving the power to initiate the censorship process to those of our members who are most easily offended, either by awful stuff or by rule violations like subtle ad posts.

The Mangina pandering climate of moderation was an "experiment", and that they would "re-evaluate in the future".

The boards have ALL degenerated into mostly sophomoric "do ya'll like facials" type questions and other dribble better suited for the Newbie board. Or some provider trying to sneak a thinly veiled "promotion" where it doesn't belong.

It's been a YEAR or more TER. You lost most of the old guard, and those who remained along with many more are by the looks of this thread (and others); Not pleased!

Go to your 'My Ter' --> More --> My Board Posts

You will see a list of your postings. If any of them have been pulled, it will be noted in that list.

No, TER will NOT notifiy you. It's up to you to keep track of your 'My Board Posts'.

Hope that helps.
