Several posts below, on TER Boston, on TBD National, and TBD St Louis have brought to light one on the most clever scams of a pseudoprovider that I've ever seen in my research of vixenology for these few years. This is one of the worst wastages of a good mind I've encountered since Antonin Scalia got sucked in by the Catholic Church and Mussolini.

The most thorough analysis of this exceptionally clever Brooke scam is in a thread on Boston TER. Here's a summary:

Brooke4xtc says she came from a rural Missouri cornfield, to St Louis, to become a new provider. She posted an e-mail May 15 on TBD St Louis, and started asking for Pay Pal 50-100% deposits to help her get started [in bbjteoku perhaps!].
A website was in progress, and she promised e-mail pics, but none have come up yet.
She said she was planning a national tour, including Boston and Atlanta, but posted nowhere there, nor on Eros or Exotics.

No one has ever seen Brooke, not in St Louis, Boston, or anywhere. She said she was a Missouri farm girl in St Louis for over a month, seeking deposits, delaying sending photos, postponing the setting up of appointments with one excuse after the other for well over four weeks. No one ever saw her. She posted once in StL and would not produce herself or the photos.

Her writing is very literate, and you don't learn that from Spellcheck or in Missouri cornfields! LOL

Brooke has not sent any photos to anyone anywhere.
If she had, they would be stock Internet bikini shots or others from anywhere, not subject to verificaton, and some astute surfer might notice.

More than one guy sent a deposit and was scammed. She's probably lost track. One is born every minute. If you do the math, a few deposits a dayx 35 x $100 from extensive e-mailing can quickly reach $100,00, and she's far too clever to admit to more than one. Posters are too embarassed to admit anything.

She first said that she missed Boston because she went to see an e-mailer from Vegas, who was one of four cops who arrested and held her for 3 days. Sure. Pros arrestees are out in 2 hours in Vegas.

The Las Vegas story is beyond preposterous. How dumb does she think we are to believe that LVPD would bring in an unknown w/o pics from St Louis, MO, or a nearby cornfield, for a 4-cop sting? LMAO.

A male teen in Ft Ldl or LV or NYC might think the LV story was a good one, but any experienced defense lawyer could see through that with both hands on his schlong.

She pretended to have a tour going, to Atlanta, Boston, etc.
Yet, no pics on Eros or Exotics. No tour notices anywhere.

The dad in hospital story is sweet, a step above the flat tire. Anyone can dream up a dozen excuses to keep on delaying and lying, committing fraud in the  great American traditon.
Hospitals have phones, even computers, and visitors use them all the time, except she was not tied up there or in Vegas for a ludicrous 3 days on pros charges. Routinely the ladies are out on PR or $100 in a few hours. LV arrests streetwalkers by the kilogram and they are out in hours.

Mythical con artiste Brooke gives us no believable detail about anything. All is vague and amorphous. This is typical of the sociopathic personality or con artist we are dealing with here, smooth, sympathetic, and manipulative. [Do I smell TBD here, without the smooth and sympathetic?]

Brooke is probably a teenaged male in Ft Lauderdale laughing his ass off at these gullible adults who think with their schlongs!
He may have done it for fun, or may have raked in some dough.
Pay Pal would know.
The kid is just like a dangerous hacker.
Someone needs to package up all of the details and send them to the computer crime section of the FBI. This kid is dangerous and has a life of cyber crime ahead of him.

NOW, everyone, tell us all about the responding e-mails you got from "Brooke", the photos, the jail stories, etc. NADA! Duh!
I've been scammed too and empathize. This one was clever, a real challenge. Let's not sit back and let this one grow into an Ivan Boesky or Mohammed Atta!

Once again, Thelostschlong ... you have simply out done yourself.  I for one, am glad you did the investigative legwork on Brooke.  

It's amazing as to how some of these provider take undue advantage of goodhearted/trusting hobbyist.

Based on the thread on the General Discussion board, I have learnt to stay clear of the following:

1.  A vixen who does not have an ad on a reputable webmall.  

2.  An advance payment using penpal, or any other service.

3.  Drive 50 plus miles to connect with a beautiful Vixen.  

4.  If vixen is in hotel, need the room number upfront and last name under which room is registered.

5.  No reviews on TER.

You know, I've been meaning to ask about this anyway...

1) WHAT the HELL is the appeal in seeing a "touring" provider? What qualities could a woman POSSIBLY posess that a bit of reaseach couldn't uncover to be found in a LOCAL provider (remember, providers don't tour Iowa...they tour places where escorts thirve in the first place...else they wouldn't come) who has REVIEWS from locals and a LOCAL business reputation to protect?

2) WHY in the HELL would you want to see a provider, local or no, who you KNOW has "done" some number of guys before you even arrive? I read in reviews stories of guys who pass the previous client in the hall, coming out the room, or who sit in the hotel lobby an extra 30 - 60 mins while the previous guy finishes up. HELLO?? Ladies, I know you do your best to freshen up...bless you, but I REALLY am not interested in following up another guy by a matter of minutes. Virtually every local independent I have talked to or read posts from regarding this subject say they see one or two guys a day...that they simply would not be able to be at their best with any number larger than that. What kind of performance can a lady possibly give the 4th guy that day...and BTW, she had 5 yesterday, and 6 three days ago when she was in a different city. And some of you guys pay GOOD money (because my observation is that touring pros charge more than local mid level independents) for this?

3) WHO is dumb enough to put down a deposit on an ILLEGAL activity? HELLO?? You have NO recourse...none. And while I am certain most escorts are on the up and up, let's be frank...the percentage of dishonest persons within a collective group of people comfortable with doing business in a vice has GOT to be higher than to general population at large. Hell, based on some of the reviews and posts I have read, I'M tempted to start scaming guys too...some hobbyist are so out of touch with reality and so lost in their perspective they must have "sucker" tattooed to their forehead by now.

I am not trying to hate on my fellow hobbyist...really, it is that I feel sad for you as fellow men. Some of you guys really need to wake up...have fun, have LOTS of fun, but don't be stupid about it. The whole reason you are paying for "it" is to tilt the "table" of the game in your favor...rather than playing "games" to score with some gal, a game you probably aren't good at and will probably end up losing, you are instead paying for a sure thing. Fine. But don't ruin all that by being STUPID enough to again allow yourself to be manipulated. YOU are paying, so YOU set the rules you are willing to play by (for me, no deposits, no waiting past 30 - 40 mins, no tipping unless REALLY justified, and for heavens sake no paying for time spent having dinner or anything else other than getting busy).

Jeez....paying for dinner dates...paying just to talk to some babe for two hours...one guy wants to know if it is ok to pay some gal he met at a fast food joint to sleep with him. Have you guys totally forgotten that women ENJOY SEX and ENJOY the company of men? Or is your self esteem so low you have managed to convince yourself that no woman would ever even care to speak to you without collecting $$$ from you first???

We are MEN for gawd sake!! Where is your pride and dignity???!!!!

Actually, I kinda missed to point of your post...and I don't say that to be mean.

MY point was that if a guy is going to PAY for it...hire an escort, then he should resolve to not allow himself to be manipulaed. There is simply no point....it is one thing to let a woman wrap you around your finger in a real relationship (if that is the man you chose to be)...it is another to have an escort do it AND take your money, thank you very much.

I have guys always trying to manipulate me into getting into bed, I dont like lying and manipulation either. Dating sucks in LA.   That's one reason Im an escort.  At least a client does something nice for me and enhances my well being, even if it is only by paying for me time.  Now that is something I really appreciate.  But in the light of the way I understood you before, well, I got a whole different meaning.

Because I am foolish enough to believe that I can "talk some sense" into some of these guys (arrogant, I know).

I am new to the hobby, and I don't hobby much, so I am not very, very intimate with the culture.

When I got in, I foolishly assumed all the guys would (for the most part) fall into two categories:

A) Married guys who weren't totally satisfied (for whatever reason, be it quantity or quality) with what they were getting at home. Like Darth above, they pay for the privilage of being able to "walk away". I hear that...I understand that.

B) Guys like me, who can't seem to keep their cocks in check, and who have more money than they have time or patience (all three being relative for the individual). Guys who like sex, like sex with different women, and who can't (or won't) be bothered with simply picking said women up in bars and the like. As I have noted before, for me, it was moving to a new city where I didn't know the "lay of the land" and where I simply didn't connect with most of the women I was meeting (for casual sex that is...I did meet a couple real nice gals for serious relationships since I have been here).

What I have discovered is this THIRD category...guys who see escorts IN LIEU of forming real relationships with women (which in and of itself would be ok, except, as I have also noted before, the single greatest experience on earth is to know the true love of a woman, and this path denies you that experience) and instead seem to SUBSTITUTE relationships with escort(s) for relationships with civilians. Even going so far as to give them money (beyond the fee), allow said escorts to manipulate them in regards to their schedule / time, buying them lavish gifts, and even worrying how said escorts will feel about them "seeing" another escort.

It is THIS behavior that breaks my heart...and I suppose it is not my concern to be concerned...but man...it just breaks my heart.

So...I occassionally get my rant on because I just keeping hoping one guy will read it, see himself in the mirror, and say "what the hell am I doing?".

So that is why. Am I right? No...nor am I justified. But, still, I will shout from the mountian tops....have fun, have LOTS of fun, but...

Like W, I'm a pretty loving guy, but I have my limits. I'm not too crazy about some stranger wanting everything but a blood sample from me before we meet, AND a deposit. While I appreciate the lady's security concerns, this should be, as they say in law school, an arms' length, bargained-for exchange. I would like to think I am not so desperate where I feel like she's doing me a favor taking my money.

For the same reasons, I just find deposits too onerous. I agree with MLAM's points below, although, Detroit, Chicago and Boston are different markets than, say, LA or NY. There is no shortage of quality talent in the latter locations, and plenty of shortage (and not to mention no shortage of heat) in the former ones.

Recently, a provider from another part of the country decided she might want to tour a large city of the other coast. She wanted to Set Conditions, including the use of a verification service no one in the burg of over 10 million had ever heard of. She failed to comprehend that she'd just be another working girl in that city, although I think there would be a market for her. Unsurprisingly, the tour was cancelled.

I appreciate the fact that there will always be some tension between clients and providers, considering our repressed sexual history in America, and that is unfortunate. But I'd like to think most of the guys here, especially those who take the time to make thoughtful posts, are gentlemen and respectful of the providers they wish to visit.

I tried to give this lady the benfit of doubt.  I e-mailed her to let her know what was being said on all the boards, she never got back to me.  Then she comes up with Dad in coma and if that is true then I am really very sorry.  I must say you have the claim on bad-luck that I have ever seen.  What disturbs me the most is the LE story.  Why would they single out 1 particular lady, send deposit over state lines when she had no intention of going there in the 1st place...just to bust her? It is just Odd.  If that really happened...Would that not be Entrapment at its fullest?  In this biz, LE stings is something you do not kid or LIE about ever! It just seems very bizzare to me!
